    Coleman & beagle are right on Point. I used a pure lead #429244HP with out gas check in a T/C HAWKEN .50cal The GOULD Bullet sounds like a good idea for .54 cal, might try it.

    I would call back and complain, if they wouldn't swap out a new correctly made gun, that worked right, straight out of the box. I would send a LETTER & PICTURE to every gun mag & every website out there. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

    I've had that LEE WC mold for 30+yrs. Cast of 20/1 over 6.0grs of UNIQUE, makes a light, accurate & pleasant load. Every time I see one on flea-bay, I always get out bid.

    Extractor's mostly, sometimes the lifter jammed, or even broke off completely. Sometimes the barrel wouldn't reseat after being removed. Had one that the buttstock split 6 inches from the tang. And more broken off safeties then I could count.
