Congratulations on your harvest. I got my first buck with a handgun 44 mag and cast boolit this year. Then took a doe with a cast boolit in a 38-55 mini Sharps. Been shooting nothing but my own reloads for over 35 years but it a little bit sweeter...

I have some as cast or sized thru a Lee .309 sizer and lubed with 45/45/10. I use a hard alloy to cast them 95%lead 5% antimony. Send me a PM with how many you need and mailing info.

Nicely done. Wish I could hunt small game with a reduced load center fire cartridge. I have a Handi rifle in 30-30 and love plinking with the Lyman 311414 over 6 grains of Unique.

Congratulations on the deer and the recovery. Last weekend I shot my first buck with a handgun using a Contender 44mag with a NOE 430-265 HP. Then yesterday I shot a doe with a Taylor Bros mini Sharps in 38-55 using a NOE 379-235 WFN. Both these...

Rking I loved squirrel hunting as a younger man still do just don't get to do as much as I would like to. Fall archery for deer and turkey consumes most of my free time now. I have four 32 cal rifles and still most of my squirrel hunting is done...

Rking I was being helped by a crew of four other guys and we had three other deer to process so I didn't get to do to much wound investigation. The wound channel looked just like you stabbed a sharpened piece of half inch rebar thru him. Same with...

Rking the alloy I used my have contributed to the results I got. I cast the boolit with an alloy of 95% lead and 5% antimony. Loaded the 430-265 HP on top of 18 grains of 2400. I have no chronograph so I'm guessing 1100 fps. In this situation I'm...

Used a NOE 430-265 deep hollow point to harvest my first buck taken with a boolit that I cast. I split time this year between my two Contenders a 7-30 Waters and a 44 mag. Sunday morning I choose to hunt a blind set up in a thick hardwoods. Since my...

Congrats on your harvest. I'm shot my first deer with a cast boolit this year. Pretty much had the same result as you. I used a 14" Contender in 44 mag. Pushed a NOE 430-265 deep hollow point with 18 grs of 2400. The alloy I'm using is hard for a...
