I've got an Igloo marine cooler that claims to be "extreme" that I've had for nearly 5 years now. It's got thicker foam than I remember coolers having in the past and does pretty well. But it's starting to show it's age. I just bought an RTIC...

I'd just work up a load for some 150gr barnes bullets for my 30-06 then buy 3 more boxes of them and be done with it. if you shoot 150+ deer in California in your lifetime your probably going to jail for the rest of it anyway.

if you have antimony on the surface of the boolit the antimony surface will have small dendrites on the surface which will eventually polish and scrape the barrel into a better condition. somewhere about 10-K rounds you would see an improvement....

I'd run the rifle one and see. also try a double tap on the up and down stroke of the handle. I do that on all my powder dumps except the plastic LEE one, I just use it for 4198. I can't talk myself into trying 5744.

stirring would do it. antimony melts at 1600 or so but it stirs in just fine. you are correct about silver adding both a flow ability and a hardness to the lead alloy. it works somewhere in between copper and Tin.

bumping the load wouldn't hurt either. but a dozen fire-lapping shots could fix you up pretty well, you probably only need to move .001+/- from the tight area.

the sizer ain't gonna make no difference if you only get 401 from the mold. start there. see what you can get to work in your guns. the large diameter gun might need something different, especially if 403 doesn't chamber in the 401 gun.

it could just be a tight spot in the forcing cone which isn't all that uncommon. it doesn't take too many shots to lay down lead in the barrel. 5-6 shots is enough to show if there is an issue. sometimes it gets worse and sometimes that's all you...
