I have played with a Ruger American in 300blk. It's done pretty well with cast plinking loads from 100-230gr. I haven't got to do any serious work or chasing accuracy. I have a bunch of the Lee 155gr spire points meant for the 7.62x39 but also...

I keep wanting little projects done and finding someone to do them has been well a waste of time. The machine shops around me say its not enough to mess with or the cost for doing a little job is just to much to justify. So I been on the hunt for...

I swage 22 brass into 55gr bullets the duds that I find I pull the bullets and use them as well. I SS pin with water to clean them before I de rim you would think tumbling in a tank full of water and soap would kill the primer plus it was a dud to...

Not a bad tip I may have to look into that right now I have some foam cut at a angle I lay a towel on so the bullets roll down a hill nice and soft. The only time I have a problem is with 405 gr and 247 rifle they are long and hold heat so deform...

this is how it works with naked lead too. eliminate the imperfections and don't change the intended shape of the bullet and you get on target results.

I cast indoors but my pot is right under a old stove hood with a fan vent to the outside. Anything you use to melt lead I would vent outside with a fan and would not count on a draft from window to window to handle the fumes.
