If it is NATO spec it also has a circle with a + in the middle. Based on my research the dots are to indicate the station from which the brass was made. In a turret type press making brass they need to know which station the brass came from so...

I agree prices are up. There may be a couple explanations for the difference you mention though. One, 10.5" is not a highly sought after barrel length and the shorter barrels are. Two, depending on the grips, most are not looking for custom grips...

Note there is a certain time period where they started doing the chamfer at the time of manufacturing. Mine is from 2015/16 and it is already chamfered.

I contacted Lee. They said the bullet should pass through the seating and crimping die, with the seater removed, by either falling through on its own or very light finger pressure. Definitely not the case. They said to send back with a bullet and...

Funny, I was just throwing away a couple paint cans and thought, hey these would work well as a drum for my Thumlers tumbler! You could easily run some large rubber bands around the outside for the drum to grip on the drive shaft.

I had an issue finding one recently too. I found a box of 3/4" socket head cap screws at Fastenal. Only needed one or two to use as a tap and had to buy a whole box. If you have a Grainger or McMaster Carr in town you could possibly get one there...
