What sort of projectile are you hoping to swage? I have been fooling around the fringe of making swage dies but only made a few punches and modified some reloading dies so far. My goal is to feed a .25 marauder. D-Rig is swaging .25 cal...

Nice mulie Lamar, big enough to warrant the drag. Are you thinking about a winch on top of a headache rack to help load? Or maybe that mythical hunting spot where you hunt on such steep ground that they just fall in the back of the truck.

This is a solution for the same problem when it happened to me. Remington 700 classic 35 Whelen. Firing pin strike shoving the case forward, the problem gets worse on successive firings until the firing pin can't reach the primer. Unfortunately my...

The guys at the scrap yard tell me cans are made from 6061 aluminum. 6061 is not the strongest, or the most corrosion resistant, but still good stuff. Material marked 6061 T6 is tempered to where the chips don't gum up your cutter when machining.

The cartridge would make a great .22hornet class varmit gun. Imagine a solid, scoped bolt rifle. Until such a rifle becomes available, at a price in my budget, I will just keep on making 165 grain .30 cal bullets from 5.7 brass.

A friend has a CVA single shot in 35 Whelen. The factory J bullet ammo was to stout for his wife and not very accurate. After many loads with J bullets I finally got decent groups but only with near max loads. So I borrowed an NOE 250 gr fp gc...

I set up my 650 for 30-06 this weekend. Even with ball powder it threw charges from 42 to 47 grains. I tried being consistent with how I loaded but still couldn't maintain 44 grains. I can understand poor metering with stick powder. Any...
