Iíve been seeing a lot of negative things about this mould. I still havenít gotten it to work for my 6.5x55 Swede. CG 63 with 8.5 rifling. I still have a lot of things I can change for the time being to try and work it out, but was wondering what...

Yes it’s a great deal. I’m thinking of paying twice that here. However, Midway won’t ship anything out of the U.S. I went through it with them trying to buy a mould. I finally got the mould (from Middway) but buying it through Amazon.

I can’t say I’ve had that problem. I quickly load mine after flaring. Still working up loads, so only doing ten at a time and then restarting again from beginning. If springy brass really exists as a lot seem to think. Maybe anealing would help...

I am getting ready to buy a bench fixed priming system. At first I was going to go with Lee until I found out that I had to buy special shell holders. I have a lot of different cartridges, so I would need the kit. Unfortunately I am in Europe...

I was just getting ready to buy the Lee auto bench primer and then saw that I may need to buy shell holders too. Can I use a regular press shell holder? Would I have to buy shell holders for the RCBS bench primer? Thanks

The worst has got to be pouring ingots in the hot summer! I tend to cast boolits in the spring and fall. In the winter my feet get too cold if I’m not moving around much. I guess I could get a new pair of insulated boots. My wife threw away my old...

I can’t help much. I can just say I have that same mould(unaltered). So far have only used it once for around a hundred boolits. I had the same problem at first with the wrinkles, more than other molds. My alloy (range scrap) got too hot and they...

My guess is the die is marked wrong. Good calibers. How many of us have really good calibers? I don’t, but I do have a good micrometer. Calipers work great for case length, but if boolit dia. is in question, I always mic it and quite a few of them....

I’m sure you can buy a barrel for$300. But then there is the gunsmithing costs to fit it to your reciver just right then bluing or parkerizing and maybe more for sight placement. And don’t forget reaming for the right head spacing may be needed. ...

GregLaROCHE replied to a thread The Rifleman in Cast Boolits
I just watched a video on that Winchester and it seemed to be longer than in the Rifleman. Was the rifle in the series cut down? Maybe It’s just that Chuck Connors was a tall guy and made it look shorter.

GregLaROCHE started a thread The Rifleman in Cast Boolits
I opened up YouTube the other day and it suggested I watch a video of one the old Rifleman series. It was fun. Brought back a lot of memories. Anyone know what cartridge he was shooting? Anything about the rifle?

Why are you nose sizing? To reduce overall length or something else? Thanks

You know I’ve heard of people topping of a charge with cream of wheat. I’m not recommending it. Just letting you know what could be one of your options.

I had that same problem of not burning all powder and finding debris in the barrel, when using Vectan Tu 3000. I solved the problem by crimping tighter. Never used filler.

The one question I have is when I file a flat spot, there’re a lot of hash marks from the file. I don’t want to use my smaller jewelers files. It’s already a chore to clean the coarser ones. Maybe some 200 get sandpaper after the file would help.

The most important thing is that we can communicate our ideas and thoughts. On this forum I think everyone is talking about boolit molds or moulds. What difference does it make. This is not a forum for bread bakers or cheese makers. We are boolit...

The PDF table printed out fine. Thanks. The information from others is interesting too. I wish there were a chart with the change In hardness over time. I guess you would need one for each alloy. Thanks to everyone for your help.
