    I’ve heard of people drilling a hole in a soup ladle and using it to pour into moulds. Can’t say I’ve ever tried it, however a stainless soup ladle works fine for me for casting two pound ingots. (No holes drilled in it)

    I’m nostalgic and would keep the original barrel, as long as there’s nothing wrong with it. I’m sure you could get set up with whatever you need to reload for it for less cost than rebarreling. I regard that type of project of the fun of the hobby.

    You may want to look into NOE’s expanders in the future. They aren’t expensive and will fit in the Lee expander tool. They give you more options on how the case is expanded.
