I used a wood cutting band saw which worked very well. lead chips were all inside the base of the saw and were easy to collect. Because of the narrow kerf there was not nearly as much as a skill saw makes.

I have two 1# cans of Dupont smokeless rifle powder one orange and one green. . The cans are metal but there are no number references on the cans. They are quite old with some rust around the bottom. Other than the rust they are in really good...

Actually band aids just slow the rubs some and the range officer doesn't wait for you to change them when they wear through. Smoothing the bottom of the trigger guard helps some but still doesn't stop it. Because the glocks don't fit my hand well...

Mine either fire formed nicely or split about half way down the case. I'll try some Nitro 100 say 10 grs and tp and cow. We will see. I should only have to fire 2 or 3 to see if it will work.

I use an old rcbs 45acp sizer die ( the early one that only sized ) for sizing 444Marlin brass. I suppose it would work for plastic shells as well.

Here in Lincoln county MT you are allowed 3 turkeys per year. We have 13+ acres here and about a dozen turkeys roost in the trees just up the hill from my garage about 25 yds. Every morning they come down the hill and wander through the front yard....

That is a good price for a G22 but I still wouldn't want one even at that price. I was a range office for DOC for a few years and went to a advanced handgun instructor course where we fired 1500 to 2000 rounds in three days with the G22. It wore a...

These were military berdan cases that I had converted to shotgun primers and lightly trimmed the back of the case to fit my Savage 24. I'm a bit bummed because of the heavy loss while fire forming. I have another 50 ready fire form but this time i...

I have used mine pretty hard without bending it. For resizing large rifle brass I sit in a chair and hold the press between my knees and use both legs and arms to push the handles together. I use Unique case lube which lessens stress on the press...

I use a HF mini lathe (7x14). Make a mandrel for the chuck to center and stop the case, remove primer and use live center in primer pocket. Lock down cross feed and use a sharp HSS bit sharpened to 60 Degrees. It cuts quickly, accurately and very...

I don't cook biscuits, that's a task for the wife. She loves to cook and is good at it and can make great biscuits on what ever is available. I don't cook because I'm not good at cooking.

I just fire formed 60 303 cases and got 26 that didn't split when fired. Yes they were annealed first and had only been fired once. 444Marlin cases are very close to the same length as the 303 cases and don't need to be fire formed. I use a 44cal...

If my memory serves, I have shot 7 moose with the 270 Win using 4831 and a Speer 150gr btsp. It works very well with holes in and out. I shot one with a Hornady 130 gr about 175yds through both shoulders but it failed to exit the hide. I prefer the...

Montreal steak seasoning on most meat. If it needs bbq sauce then Kenai BBQ sauce applied after cooking. It can turn a poor piece of meat into a delight.

Yep, .052 is not wall thickness, it's the wall thickness of both sides so you have .026 on each side wall. If you take .052 off one side it takes .052 off the other side at the same time.

I lived in AK for 32 years the first six were in Nome. The skeeters are so thick on the tundra there you can see a cloud of them coming for you a half mile away. 100% Deet is the only thing that will keep them from landing on you and that is barely...

I don't cam over at all. I set my dies so the neck gets sized just shy of the shoulder. I like to just feel the bolt close on a loaded round as in .000 to -.0005 head space. Once the case grows to a slightly stiff bolt closing then screw the die...
