    Heat sink, in other words to get rid of heat wood would tend to insulate. But you could use small fan to do that also.

    I pin cleaned the 80, 30-06 brass that just went thru the Lyman salt bath annealing process at 960’ for 7 seconds They look like new so will prime later this week and fill with powder and boolits, ready for deer season.

    Spray on, 91% alcohol and pure lanolin 12 to 1. Lay out on shop towel spray a few spritzers and roll around. Save shop towel in plastic bag for later. Doesn’t take much.

    To me hot plate is very valuable to get your molds up to temp before you start casting. Also it can heat your next ingots up close for not dropping pot temp while adding more in. But be careful it can melt ingots also. Find something to lay on top...
