I shoot about 10-20k just targets with pistol, that’s why we need more spp. I have enough for about 1.5 years left at that rate. Deer shooting is 1 shot 1 kill, so got enough sr to last me.

As long as I stay with one shot one kill I’ve got enough to last. Barring fire or theft, and blasting paper. I think I’ll hide some in different areas of the Ponderosa.

That would be a squib for sure. I made some ladder loads for testing 9mm once, produced a squib in the bunch and when it happened, had the sense to stop and investigate. Added a powder check to progressive press to try and prevent that problem....

Hossfly replied to a thread Mark your ingots in Cast Boolits
I use the letter stamps from Harbor Frt. they’re small but so far it works well. Every one is marked with (L), (WW) As that is all I have right now, and I have a ton of it stored. I’ve added solder only to my pot when casting boolits for better...

My mitutoyo 6” digital calipers act funny when the batteries get weak. Change em out they go another year or so. Been working for 20 years like that. When batteries get weak they start being inconsistent.

I have piece of 1/2” thick covering entirely both coils.( Aluminum) works and heats very well. Will melt ingots also. Use it to warm ingots, keep on cooler side.

Yes, after cleaning you need to sort by caliber, and if you find sp mixed in with lp, you will need to get to one type primer pocket.

We process 1-2 deer per year. Sometimes 3 but that’s rare, mostly hot pan sausage or smoked. Been doing that since I was 15, I’m now almost 71. That’s a lot of deer,La hunters kill about 125K per year that are counted. Seems like about that many end...

NIB to me without having to sort them nasty ones would be worth at least .50 cents per lb. just melt and skim and a little fluxing. But I’m sitting on a metric ton now but could always use more. Like money in the bank.

First of all your going to need to slug a barrel to determine what size it is to know what size to size your boolits. If that makes sense, then you need a boolit that’s cast larger than the bore. So you can size it down to what you need. >001-.002...
