Hi guys, Up for sale is my used mold 4 cavity brass HBWC mold for 38/357. Iíve probably cast around 1k rounds with it. Selling because I favor the Cramer style better. Hollow base wad cutters drop at .3607 @ 151.5 grains on my straight reclaimed...

Iíve got the NOE one. Agree with the heat comments. I personally prefer the Cramer style, but this works.

Tried out my new MP 357-125HP today with using smokes clear. Iím not new to smokes powders but I am to clear and was really curious to see how it would come out. Not exactly what I pictured in my mind but I do like it! *out of the mold on the...

Yes. But there is no ďmoving the lever down the first little bitĒ. Check out the photo below: the lever closes freely until this point. Then thereís firm resistance all the way until the lever presses that trigger safety on its own. I...

I really believe that this is my problem. There is zero play in the lever when the action is fully closed. I suppose itís possible the lever is bent. Do you guys think it would be worth it to compare to the lever on my newer (90ís era) Win 1894AE?

Iím not sure that I follow you. The lever safety on this particular piece consisted of a pivot on one end, the little cylinder that engages the finger lever and on the other end a tab that blocks the trigger movement. The only part on this gun that...

I have a suspicion that this is what I need to look into. But I think that might be more trouble than itís worth. I may just leave it as-is

That pretty much sums it up. This particular gun is a range only piece so the issue itself isnít a huge thing. I just like my stuff to work as designed, is all.

Got my mold in today and already have it cleaned and on itís first heat cycle. Looks beautiful as usual. Peculiar that two of the round HP pins came with the screws installed but the part where you insert the Allen key came stripped from the...

The problem is that once I close the action and let go of the finger lever, I can still drop the hammer by pulling the trigger without squeezing the finger lever.

Removing the stock definitely helped me visualize how it all works. Although I donít believe itís the lever safety thatís binding. The lever safety seems to swivel freely. I had a close look at the bolt and the relationship between all the...

I recently picked up a Ď61 1894 in 30-30. The problem I have is that when I fully depress the lever then take my fingers off the lever, the lever still depresses that little protruding pin and I can still pull the trigger to drop the hammer. I have...

Iíve had good luck sizing at least .002 larger than the largest slug size diameter. So in your case Iíd try .404. PC for me adds .003 to my boolits if I tap off the excess, which might put your boolits at .404 if the Lee drops at .401. If you...

Oh interesting. I learn something new everyday! Very plausible that it explains my pistol. Iím almost tempted to shell the $70 for the history check with S&W but itís a pretty steep price just to satisfy curiosity.
