    Excellent idea; I'll give it a try. Thanks. I've got a FB also, so I hate to cut up that brass, but I've got a 30 gallon trash can full of .223 so I can afford to lose a few of those. WP

    It should work; I was just playing around with the .223 to see if it could be done. It was just easier to poke them out with a cleaning rod than switch extractors back and forth. WP
