Yep, this is what I would do. Generally you can both see (light colored area) and smell freezer burnt meat...the smell is more of a "stale" type smell, not a rotten smell. It's easy to trim it off.

I've heard about problems with "UPS Stores". I am lucky to have a UPS regional Hub in my small town, never had any major problems with them. Although one time, when shipping 5 bricks of 22lr ammo, I was asked how many rounds? Since I never had...

I use to think about this all the time. Was all the good 'stuff' on the right side of the pot and all the not so good 'stuff' on the left? So I started to mix the pot with a paint stir stick. I stopped using the sticks and went to a old fork with...

Good question. Probably what Trapper9260 referenced " they did not offer them ( at this auction, at this time. )." Now, what " They been going down hill for the past years." is referencing to, I'm not sure. I hope not NAFA, cause I doubt that...

Hmm It's unbelievable what coyote are going for now. Years ago I wouldn't give over $5 a hide for them unless they were skinned. Just my luck LOL.

Monday bump. I know these are rare because this is the first one I have seen. Does anyone on Cast Boolits even have one of these? Google is not my friend here! MCRW is also the same name as some process so Google is worthless on this tong tool.

They don't make the 41 cal SWC in 6 cavity molds either. I asked 3 months ago. I got this response, "Unless you buy 30 molds, There is a $175 setup fee"

The tough part when milling the entire mold top will be dealing with the sprue bolt holes...they will probably have to be deepened and re-tapped...I think they are designed to "bottom out". Plus you'll lose some boolit weight. I sent you a PM. Jon

willicd76, welcome to the forum. As others have said, Lee molds work fine and with proper care should last a average lifetime. But the short answer to your question is, YES the quality of other brands make them worth many times more than a Lee....
