I totally agree. and I'll add, a deformed boolit will still be accurate enough at short range. But once you start shooting past 25 yards the poor accuracy will be obvious.

A few days ago, looking at my "yellowed" plastic headlight lenses on my Toyota, which I posted about previously (the polishing compound treatment lasted about 1 or 2 years?). I decided to read up and try the "DW OFF" (Deep Woods OFF insect spray)...

Do you have one, home made or store bought? Or do you just skin from a rafter? When I was really into the fur buying heavy, mostly in the round, I realized how far I was becoming swamped with the skinning process. Realized I had to sink money...

If this happened to me, and this new dealer was remorseful as you said, I'd take the full refund and not accept the holster. Then I'd remove the FB post if he requested that. I'd probably still go to this fella's shop, but would be leery about...

There have been some good common sense info posted so far. Before I'd proceed to load "Ruger" loads in a CVA or Henry, I'd contact the manufacturers or search their websites for MAX specs...but I doubt they will provide that online?

I haven't investigated the bottom of the Lee pot for a bottom mounted TC, but I would think it would be thin enough for mounting via a "through hole", with a nut on the inside. I wouldn't trust any JB weld or epoxy, unless it was rated for 1000...

nah, that's the 50 cal (C501-440RF). When you look at the cavity size in comparison to the block size, it's difficult to imagine those blocks could be used with a larger pair of boolits...I wish Lee would have either made a single cavity, or used...
