was camping one night and we were up all night cooking a pig. All we had were old kerosene wick lamps. Nobody remembered to bring extra fuel. the lamp we used by the pig went dry after about 2 hours. One of the guys said pour some shine in it. they...

now that has my attention. Basicaly 250 sav ballistics in an ar15! Even if it doesn't really push a 87 to 3000 my ex wife and son killed quite a few whitetails with 250s loaded to about 2700 with an 87 grain sierra and it did it well. Anyone selling...

Well I can give two examples of how they are a value. I built one a few years back. Had 500 in it and during the last scare got 750 for it cash at the local shop. How did it compare to factory gun prices then? I don't know because he flat out...

Hey all, I know the 480 shines with 400+ boolits (I have a 435gr WLN from Mountainmolds- Dan is exceptional), but I want to stretch my lead stash so I played around with a 300gr and a 370gr SWC for Unique/Trailboss plinking at 50-75yd with irons but...

Well dang, after looking at another 480 and a 454 in person, canted front sights, grip panels waay off the frame, rough machining on the cylinder latches; I'll have to eat my words and recant my thoughts on mine. You gents were right and I do not...

Heres something I think would work well. How about a standard length 223 but blow out to improved opened up to 25 6.5 7mm or 30 cal. Make mine a 257 (just because I like the 25s) shooting an 87 grain sierra game king. Is there any such thing?

read my test on my under 400 dollar psa gun. You don't need a chrome lined barrel. As a matter of fact many will tell you there not as accurate. Ive got 8 ars none have chromed barrels. I shoot the snot out of all of them and have had a bump stock...

good in theory but now everyone knows you have it. How long can you defend it against say 50 hungry armed attackers. A much smarter thing to do with your wheat then trading it for gold would be to feed enough people that you really could defend your...

this is a sub station lightning arrestor. You have something like that? Along with a 10000 square foot ground grid (small substation) You think theyd spend that kind of money if a 500 dollar lightning arrestor and a couple ground rods would take...

every see the ground grid put down around a cell tower? It sure isn't one or two 6 foot ground rods like you have for a typical home. I did my own for my home and have 8 ground rods and don't believe they would come close to handling a direct hit of...

that's kind of the way I was taught. Dc flows through the entire wire cross section and ac flows mostly on the surface but keep in mind that most wire is made by weaving many strands together to make one conductor and the current flows on each of...

there is more variation between the cup hardness of different brands then between different primers of the same brand. A cci small or large standard pistol primer is harder then a fed mag small or large rifle primer.
