X 30 year lineman here and I agree. You replace breakers when they fail and a box is just a hunk of steel. Nothing to wear out. Now if i had aluminum wires id be thinking of a total rewiring job.

Just picked up a rem 700 in 8mm and got a pile of ammo with it and a box of hornady 150s and a box of 170 speers. Looking for a rem level top end load for it not a weak mauser load. Any suggestions.

id guess by looking at it its an entry level model. Cant stand gloss scopes anyway so it will probably end up in the junk box.

the stange and ugly lee 105. Its but ugly but very accurate if your gun will run it. Some of my 9s run it great. My wifes lc9 even runs it with pop gun loads but my M&P full size wont run 3 in a row and my 3 shields rarely run a full mag. My glock...

It will also depend on your alloy, if it is pure/very soft it won't harden much if any. If your alloy is wheel weights then it will harden when water dropped. Also with water quenching usually full hardness isn't reached for awhile after quenching.
