Whelp, I finally got around to testing my CZ. Sure enough, it will not chamber .314. I've got a .311 sizing die on the way, so I'll resize to .311 and try again. :) Then we have to see if it shoots straight and what loads does it like? :) And...

I've got that mold and I like the cup point. I load them with 56 grain of Varget and it is a big push, but not painful. I have had some painful loads - closer to 60 grain with the 350s will make your fillings rattle out.

Off hand! Funny thing, I do a combat shoot every month and one guy makes up the rules for each stage. This last month one stage was: Loaded pistol, safety on, on a barrel. Pick up the pistol off hand. Alternate targets at 15 yards for six...

    It's the Accurate 240-AG. That's a great mold. The 7mm is 31-087 B.

I cast some 240 grain GC boolits for 44 mag and some 7mm 85 grain boolits for my tokarev (7.62x25). :D The 7mm boolits look tiny compared to the 240s: Pretty good haul:

Hey Wayne, I put a the Leupold quick release mounts on my Marlin 1895 and there is enough recoil that it kept knocking them loose. I gave up and got some weaver rings... And then I just ended up putting a Skinner peep on it and I love it. :)

I put a skinner sight on mine as well - I LOVE it. It is super accurate! I did a shooting comp the other day and I was against guys with AR15s with scopes - I didn't win, but I was in the upper 1/2. Target acquisition is super fast.

My mould is Accurate 43-240A for PB and 43-240-AG for GC boolits. I powder coat (mostly) and size to .430. I load the PB ones with Trailboss and I use 6.5 grain and I load my GC boolits with 23.5 grn 296 or 21 grn 2400. The TB boolits shoot with...

Ah - just looked it up. Looks like you just use the chamfer tool to take off the crimp. One more step to make my hands stronger. :-/

Is that what that is??? I had two cases that just went wrong when I went to prime them. I just tossed them and cursed the loss of the primer... How do you tell the crimped primer pocket from a normal one? And can you just trim it out?

Wow, there is no reason at all to buy it... I've been to the range 3 times and have 7 or 800 cases! I stopped picking them up on the last trip. :) But, I was next to a guy shooting .308 that wasn't reloading and I stayed a while to pick those...

You know with PB boolits, I like tailboss. So easy to shoot. And once you've shot a few rounds of it, you can tell when someone else is shooting it - it's pretty distinctive in sound and smell. I load three loads for 44 mag. They are trailboss,...

NOE has a 350 grn Ranch Dog mould that does hollow point, cup point and flat nose. The boolits from it shoot great in my 45-70. :)

With those 240-AGs I have a W296 load that is 23.5 grn (not quite max) and then I do a 21 grn load of 2400. Both of those are solid loads that kick like Chuck Norris in the revolver, but are pretty reasonable in the lever gun.

My mould for .44 mag is a 4 cavity mould from Accurate moulds that has 2 cavities in 240-A and 2 cavities in 240-AG. Basically the same design just one is gas checked and one is plain base. They cycle flawlessly in my Henry H012 and I shoot them...

I've got a CZ-52. It's a great gun that shoots straight - I've got no problem hitting 3" clays at 50 yards with factory rounds. And you can stretch to 100 yards if you don't mind blowing through some ammo. ;) Anyway, I want to start playing with...

I got a new AR-15 and I bought some nice 62 grn bullets. I figured I would sight it in with some factory rounds and then try out some hand loads. So, I went by the Lee Reloading guide and loaded some Varget loads and some IMR4198 loads. My...
