I've saved a TON of money! But, you have to buy some stuff to do it... And maybe you need a new mold to save more money...

I shoot 44 mag and I did a little ladder the other day. Most of the sources I saw agree that 24 grn is pretty much max for a 240 grn GC boolit (or jacketed). So, I shot my ladder with both my henry big boy and my ruger redhawk @ 50 yards. I...

First time I was surprised by a gun's recoil was when my buddy had some buck shot 410 cartridges in a side by side... The thing he didn't tell me is that the trigger fired which ever hammer was cocked (or both)... The gun was maybe 5" long with a...

For disks, use 3m 77 spray adhesive. If you need to take it off the pad, heat it up and it'll come off. What I do is spray, stick, sand and while everything is warm from sanding, remove.

That's a nice chart. I've got a NOE mold for .323 and have cast a few it's a 185 grain boolit so it appears to be quite a bit smaller than your 255 grainer. I have yet to load/shoot any though. My thought was to start with Varget, but I'm a...

I cast about 12 lbs of alloy in a 240 grain .430 mold today... I haven't counted, but it seems like 300-400 boolits. :D Tomorrow is .460 day... I need more boolits to PC!

This gun is brand new, so I'm trying to figure out what it likes... It's an 1895 Marlin and it's a 45-70. So far I really like this gun. The first 50 rounds were lube/sized with Ben's Red. That stuff is awesome, but messy if you screw up. ...

I bought a new Marlin (Remlin) and it slugged to just under .460. So, I have an RCBS sizer to .459 and those boolits shoot great, but I got my Lee sizer today that is .460... Time to size/shoot some boolits!

I like dropping boolits in water just because you can deal with them sooner. So when casting, immediately after, I just dig all the boolits out and lay them out on a towel to dry for the evening. When PCing, I drop the PC'd boolits in the water. ...

I've shot it a bit more and it is accurate. I scoped it and can put three together within an 1" at 100 yards. I'm experimenting on what loads, but so far about 50 grn varget on a 405 grn boolit is super accurate and has a moderate kick to it. I'm...

One thing is for sure: If you get a .357 lever gun, you HAVE to get a 357 wheel gun... Just sayin'. AND if you already have a 357 wheel gun, it's a no-brainer!

The Marlin 1895 is a really nice rifle. The fit/finish is good, the rifling is nice and it shoots really well.

I have a Redhawk that has the 7.5" barrel. I really like 23.5 grn of 296 under a 240 grn gc or jacketed boolit. Or the other load I like is 22 grn 2400 alliant. Both have a hefty boom. You can't really shoot either load one handed, but you can...
