For me, it must look perfect to keep. I notice that once everything is warm the boolits start casting nicely if I do it right. Often times I can tell when I screwed up pouring.

I tend to "have enough of something" to shoot, but I shoot 3 to 6 matches pretty much every month and sometimes I realize I'm just out of what I want to shoot. I just bought a new pistol in 10mm and I HAD a ton of 40 cal boolits. So I thought I'll...

The awesome thing about casting and reloading your own boolits is that you will shoot more and better.

Use powders that fill a large percentage of the case -- that way you cannot get a double charge.

Cast about 500 or so Accurate 40-180H boolits for my 10mm... I think I need to do another session this weekend and do another 500 or so. :D The 10mm is the *new* gun and after building up a nice load, I think I'm gonna be shooting it a lot.

I live in Komifonia and sadly the Glock 40 is not on the "roster" (list of pistols you can buy). I wanted to buy one because 10mm in a 6" kkm barrel in a long slide Glock is coooooool... And I know you can do glock 20 builds, but I cannot find...

I've got a Glock 35 and I cast/load for .357 sig and .40 S&W. The .357 sig is a 9mm boolit that one is an Accurate molds 35-125YG. I shoot these out of a KKM barrel with AA7 powder. They are super sonic and have a nice flat trajectory. Very...

Went to the range today and tried some loads out. I built up a ladder of AA#9 and Blue Dot. I brought my little Lee press, dies, powder, etc to play with the loads, but I only got to play with the AA9 loads before I ran out of time... Gonna have...

So, I found AA9 to be a bit cleaner burning and had a smaller spread at all loading levels... Now, I played around with loads for AA9, but ran out of time for the BD... So, I'm gonna have to go back and try a little stiffer charges with BD. ...

I used it a little long ago and I remember getting crud on the walls of my pot. But I didn't use it for long. I am 99% sure that I stopped using before my current pot. I generally use wood shavings / saw dust because it is really easy to get. ...

I have the NOE 323-185-RF. My first attempt was high velocity Varget loads and I leaded the crap out of my barrel... Took forever to get the lead out. But, I don't shoot it very often and was going to sell the gun - would sell the mold too. If...

I primed/belled 24 10 mm cases and boolits, packed up about 80 grain each of Blue Dot and AA#9, packed my lee hand press, a scale, a funnel and my die setup for ad-hoc loadings on Saturday 10mm load test at the range. I love dialing in my loads...

My accurate load with .357 sig was a 125 grain GC boolit with 12.5 grain of AA #9. But that was a compressed load and I had a hard time keeping the COL right... It was just easier with about 10.2 grain of AA #7 which is not a full case.

I had some leading/accuracy issues with cast boolits in my Glock. So, if I knew that the rounds I was shooting were going to be particularly hot I would not shoot them out of a stock Glock barrel... But maybe a KKM barrel?

It looks like you can get 1200 or so fps out of a 180 grain boolit with a few powders. There's a load for Blue Dot, AA #9, AA #7 and even a 1100 fps load using Unique... My plan is to test with Blue Dot and AA #9. But does anyone like a...
