well the LEE die set for 7.62 Tokarev has a die in it that is labeled 30LGR/MSR for 30 Luger/Mauser. so id say they are close enough for the die set to work for all three.. and what load did you use for the CZ-52? the listed data i got here in...

i took the old 1950s military stuff and took dimensions of the brass after i run it through the sizer and used that as the template. the neck thickness was about 0.010 and that is what i got on the resized brass. i use the lee 3 die set that...

the gas system would not account for the pierced primers. it could account for the ejector marks on the case if too much gas was flowing causing the bolt to slam backwards harder but that would be all. but AggieEE. if your getting high pressure...

slug that bugger and get an idea of the barrel diameter. if it is in tolerance then that is not it.. look at the firing pin and see if it has a rounded smooth end on it. if it has sharp edges this can pop primers.. if the chamber is short and...

one thing that might work best is to full length size the brass without the expander ball so that the outside diameter is exactly what it needs to be and then ream the inside of the brass to the correct size. this should get rid of the problem of...

i know one thing, a thinner pure copper jacket and the softest lead core you can find works wonders for expansion/fragmentation of slower velocity bullets.. it has a jacket, it does not matter if the lead is soft as butter as the jacket separates it...

this is another design that would theoretically work with an arbor press. it is as simple as i can figure out and it is machined out of a solid piece of tool steel and a notch is cut in the side to allow the jacket material to be put in the bottom...

to draw jackets with an arbor press id first make a die and punch holder to go in the press that has guide rods to keep everything centered so that one side of the jacket does not end up thinner than the other and it makes things go a lot easier. ...
