Lots to like there, if you reload and especially if you cast. The gp100 in 357 is a bit heavy but take another .060 out of the barrel and lose the underlug, yep feels very good. For me itís hard to find a better grip than the original gp100 grips,...

Without digging back in the thread, but anyway.. It would benefit you to actually shoot the revolvers that interest you before plunking down the funds. Do you have friends with 44s you like, maybe a local range to go visit and talk to some other...

Lots of good advice, per the norm around here. I did notice one glaring omission. I note you primarily just want one to play with and not to carry( I think you may change you mind after spending a little time together). With that in mind, I would...

Why new?? I have an early 5.5 Redhawk and like it, but it is massive. I donít get along well with N Frames, has multiple 29s when shooting ihmsa but kept selling them(for a profit). I would buy used, could almost buy both used for what the new one...

Royal Junior is an Hopkins Allen, parts are pretty nonexistent. I found one cheap but could not find any repair parts, let it go rather than start making them. Your Dads rifle, well learning machine work is worthwhile.

I am using 13.5 of 2400 in my 41special, bullet is hp version of NOE 41-23? LFN. Very accurate and I think I clocked one at 1150 out of the 6 inch GP100. Just a quick shot over a guy’s chronograph at the range one day. Shot it in my 4 inch TI...

I finally gave up on store bought biscuits and gravy. Most all were tolerable none like home. Same with spaghetti and banana pudding, restaurant version of those on occasion are inediable! Lucky for me Lori is an outstanding cook. Fresh biscuits...

I keep seeing reference to energy transfer, energy dump, slamming them to the ground ect. One would think that if energy was all that then a 300 gr at 2200fps that totally disintegrated in the chest cavity(3200 ftlb by the calculator) should have a...

Look in the 32acp threads in the handguns forum on here. Several folks have cut down the lee 100gr. Here is one reference http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?391320-What-is-your-best-most-accurate-32-ACP-load/page2

Really wish they would build that scope as a fixed 4 and fixed 6. They would be really light, and all I need in a hunting scope. I would be in for several of those, just not interested in $, complexity, weight for variable function I don’t use. Looks...

rking22 replied to a thread Biscuits and gravy in Our Town
Man, I am hungry!! It’s been known for these past 37 years that homemade biscuits lead to our marriage. Growing up on a family farm I could not comprehend biscuits in a can. When I found a cute girl that knew how to make biscuits and gravy I was...

I believe the hard cast suggestion is to assure penetration. If the bear is charging you and you do not hit cns or break it down, that dead bear is going to get you. Nothing handheld is going to do enough damage to get the instant STOP needed. Think...

I love hearts, and tongue. I treat the deer organ meat just like beef or pork. Slice the heart, I like it thicker and sear it on a iron with spices. The liver, it is catfish bait. I would not grind the heart, it is a delicacy, and the liver, well,...

I think a warncliff shape on a hacksaw blade. Leave the teeth on the handle end and wrap with enough duct tape to get function feel, and store your duct tape. Make an edge guard from heat welded milk carton material, singl layer of duct tape too. ...

Thanks, I would grab one in 28 in a heartbeat! I picked this one up as “parts” in a local shop. Barrel was bent and it didn’t cycle. I found a barrel on fleabay but never put it on. Really only took a few minutes to straighten, wasn’t a bad bend....
