I don't care for the carbines, stock or otherwise. Now I do like the walnut sporters, especially the 22inch version. As far as stock, we’ll they remain Ruger. I despise the extended mag release, so that gets swapped to an older Ruger one. The...

I have the Lee version and an NOE version, both cast well over 200. Wondering what the original casts? I am going to remove the gc shank on my Lee to make a plinker, just cause! These have shot well in everything I tried them in, you chose well.

No need of pc or gas check at that velocity range. I agree with the heavy for caliber, good sectional density to carry on thru, makes the best use of the “bang”. NOE has a 230gr Ranch Dog design that is a 35 caliber version of the 165 30 caliber....

Good evening, there is a group buy going on the N.O.E. 311-190 FN (30 Hunter). I have a Ruger No1 in 7.62x39 that shoots the NOE k31 bullet quite well, even with the undersized nose. Suspect that is due to the good fit in the throat, my load would...

The purpose of choke is to control the pattern distribution and is measured in % of the pellets in a 30 inch circle at 40 yards. Measuring the bore and choke to arrive at a "constriction" is a frequently used expedient, also how they are sold. Not...

If memory serves, the base diameter of the 5mm is larger than the 22WMR. Someone was doing cf conversions to the 591 and selling turned cases and dies. If I could find a cheap 591, it would become a 32swl!

Thank you for the info, my interest was likewise in evaluating the strength of 22lr bolt actions for the 32SWL. Perhaps the 24,000 psi limit is allowing for Stingers??? The 14,000 psi seems more in line with the thin case construction. At any rate,...
