rking22 replied to a thread Short squirrel hunt in Rimfire Area
Got the day off today, think I may take the little 241 out again. I would think a short only rifle, a short walk, for a short while should make up for shooting long tailed tasty greys:bigsmyl2:

I use a Wal-Mart stainless stock pot on a turkey drier burner. Also use the turkey pot as a cover over the stock pot to help efficiency. Works for me, probably not ideal but I had everything already. I also do 50lb batches, so wait for more feedback...

The only single barrel Yildiz that I am awzre of, are 12ga and the sweet little 410. I like 20ga as well and hope they make one soon, but the 410 is the one for a "lettuce protector" supreme! The 12 ga is much larger, about 5 lbs. Light for a 12...

I like ladle pouring as well, and use multi cavity molds. Some of my molds like pressure, put the mold and spout together and rotate to fill, hold a bit then roll the ladle off leaving some spill/puddle. Rotate mold back when spru freezes and...

My first 32 revolver was a 31-1, 4 inch. Really nice little guns, accurate, quiet and light! My 31-1 is lighter than my Bearcat, notably lighter! Forgot to add, the little Rossi M69 is a sweet little 32 as well, mine's 3 inch and has the short cyl...

I want to see it, just don't need it to be so bright. Orange paint serves the purpose for me, and a bit more open rear blade. Biggest recurring issue I find is too narrow rear sights, hard to fix on fixed sights too! Fixed the SP101 low shooting...

If you are close to an Academy Sports, give the Ylidiz folder a look. 3.3 lbs and very nice fit and finish. If you like 410s, buy two so you dont have to make a 2nd trip! I need to see what can be done with the trigger, not terrible but not a rifle...

Different sttokes different folks. Personally speaking the top eject BB94s are much better than any Marlin I have ever touched. That 15% additional weight and bulky handling serve me no positive. I dont put "optics" on my levers so the solid top is...

If we were logical creatures a LOT of cartridges wouldn't exist. Personally all the mid bores (.24 up to .30) hold no interest. Too much easier to cast good 30 caliber bullets and, get them to shoot well. That doesn't mean other folks will not find...
