Noe make a 6.5m mold for the Grendel. Get barrel with twist rate of 9 or 10. H4895, and reloader 7 and 4198 are all good powders to choose. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I was aware of them 3-4 years ago. Looked at them hard. But in the end went with Hipoint Carbines in 9mm, .40sw, and .45acp. Cheaper, full guns, no issues or worries if my pistol frame is exactly enough like the model they list that it will work...

I keep a tote in the back of my truck. When i go to the range i add a few bucket fulls. That way i am taking more lead than i am giving them. When the tote is full i melt it all and make some ingots. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Rocket science no, one of the trickier pistol cartridges IMO yes. As stated above so eloquently, expect consistency and you will be disappointed. You need to approach this on a gun by gun basis. Trying to take shortcuts will get you stuck in...

Agree, tumble over existing. Gives you 2 levels of protection. Does not need to be thick either, thin but consistent is IMO ideal.

Use a bullet stability calculator. There are numerous on the web. Then just plug in the bullet length and velocities you plan on shooting and your local weather. See if it works. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Try using pure lead and run it hot. Preheat the mold aswell. The insert pin needs to be as hot as the rest of the mold. Shotgun slugs are ment to be used with pure lead. Could be the main problem. Lol I tried using a Lee Key drive slug mold...
