All shots at a hundred yards. Caldwell chrono set up at 15 yards. It plugs into my phone and has a nice app that i can plug in info and notes to and it records the shot groups. I export the groups into and merg into one file.

I have a sharpshooter mold in .22 caliber buckshot. Shoots very very well in my Hatsan 135 Vortex air rifle. Tighter group than the pellets I buy. Crossman Premier Hollow Points. But I can't see the point of paying a nickle or more per pellet...

For me the clear cause and effect happened in .45acp. I had started with 5.5 grains of Red Dot and a 230 gr LRN cast boolit. Shot fine but was a bit more "bark" than I liked. Dropped to 4 grains of Red Dot, still shot ok but I had sooty...

I have been very happy with Red Dot and a variety of bullets in 9mm. I have loaded from 3 grains to 4.5. The heavy ones being for a carbine. The 3 grain load is great for pistol.

Growing up on the farm I learned a very healthy respect for all machinery. I did not hurt that dad was missing half of his ring finger. Newer model combine, had a v belt to run power steering where the old one did not. Right next to the air...

Theres a lot on Loaddata.com by Wolf Publishing. I coughed up the subscription fee to have everything at my finger tips. Lee Modern Reloader and Hogdon have a couple loads loads for H322. Lyman 49th and various others have a few loads for 3031 for...

You can size before and after powder coating. Your choice. Advantage is being able to powder coat bullets easily and quickly. While traditional lube takes a bit longer. Also lube smokes a bit when shot while powder coating doesnt. It works...

At one point I had two. LGS owner called me, said say I have a Ruger 10/22 trade in, was the last year they had walnut stocks. Price is pretty reasonable, you interested? Well yes I was interested. And thank you very much. I did not shoot it much....

I'm with Dragon. BLL just plain works, and done right has a hard finish. When my JOS is gone then we'll see about experimenting with paste wax and mineral spirits. But that could be decades from now. Little goes a long long way.

I am sitting on 150 lbs of COWW in ingots, probably about the same in Range scrap. I have mostly been running a roughly 50/50 blend with 1% tin added. I have a couple of sources for tin, some 60% lead/40% tin I found here at a resonable price,...

I'm going to be honest here. For 60 years I never really "got" the whole lever gun .30-30 thing. Then as I settled into retirement I happened to run across a pair of Win 94's. One made back in 44, one AE with crossbolt safety. Well I ended up with...

I was working for a neighbor who lived some 2 miles away (I was in my 20's) when I noticed a big flock of some kind of birds wheeling and dipping around a haystack. Well after the critters was all fed I grabbed my trusty Mossberg .410 shotgun...

Wet patching and twisting the tail is so much more easier. The base becomes perfectly flat when sized. Sizing with lee resizing lube makes the jackets nice and tough. I am also patching little .270 bullets and maybe soon 6.5 mm bullets.

Welcome. Everyone has covered the basics. Though I will add once you get it dropping good bullets be careful how you lube the molds. Nothing worse than spending 30 minutes cleaning and burning it out, then lube the guide pins and accidently get some...
