To make Grendel brass from 7.62X39 I just use my cast bullets and about 13g of 2400. Makes a nice plinking round for the kiddies to pop off for me.

CWW make the best shot. I can still make decent shot from RS though and pretty good shot from half CWW and RS. I am curious if you are mixing water with the coolant. If you are, then don't. Run to the dollar store and fill the coolant vat with...

Anything below 50% COWW and I started seeing more "funky" shot. Fabric softener will work if you use enough of it. I'm estimating mind you, but I would guess I was in the area of 70% softener to 30 % water when I had my best run. At the time I...

I have to cast pretty hot. How hot have you tried to cast with? My normal casting temp is ar 900 to 950 degrees F. I would confirm the zinc contamination before going that route. There are a lot of things that can can clog a pour spot. If i have...

Maybe I'm off base here. But it seems to me that is an heirloom gun. Hang it on the wall. Tell every story about that gun and your dad to anyone who will listen. Pass it on to a grandson or daughter. You want a new toy, go ahead, feel free....

I watched my dad live to 93. Last 5 years he was legally blind with Macular degeneration. He could with the aid of a walker get from bed to bathroom, from there to chair in living room, slowly. Frail, yes. His chief pastime was yelling at mom. ...

I will own up to owning one and 2 High Points. I will even own up to owning the Pink one. In my defense it is the wifes, but I shoot it more than her. I can easily drop steel plates it at 25 yards like I can with all my 9mm. I will say the trigger...

Belt loop can be accomplished a couple of different ways. A couple of mine use a simple leather strap sewed together at the ends and attached to the sheath. One I used a longer length and doubled it back on itself for a belt loop/pocket clip. ...

That is my vote also. I had 2 9mm's keyholing badly with the Lee .356 124. I feed both with those .358 125 rnfp as cast. No sizing. Alloy is roughly 50% COWW and 50% range scrap or soft lead with 1% tin/pewter added. They come out .359-.3595...
