That still small voice, the one that never leads you astray. That is the one to listen for. Always leading you in paths of Rightousness. That is how you can tell it is not something or someone else. I don't think it is so hard to hear so much...

I agree with 35whelen. My .45 colt is a single shot handi rifle. But 6.5 grains of Red Dot under a 230 gr cast truncated cone bullet did amazing things in mine. Easy on the shoulder, quiet, with a big thump on the far end. It was stacking...

He has the patience of a saint. When working with flawed, dull, cracked, failing tools how easy is it for a workman to blame the tools? Yet Got forgives us, keeps urging us forward. Probably a good thing we do not hear God talking to Jesus.

I switch alloys often depending on bullet and use. Doesn't harm a thing. I thing the sulfer i add to my alloy causes unique problems on its own, but all is fair in love and reloading.

Once you get the use of those dippers down. I can throw chargers with it that are rather oddly consistent.

I'm with Richardb and use 2 grains of Red Dot in my pair of H&R revolvers. (732, 733, one nickle, one blued) My old RCBS uniflow does well enough with the small cylinder at 2 grains. But I do often make a custom measure for loads I load often....

Yeah I jumped on it, its in the works. I've been looking at single six rugers for a while now. The vast majority seem to be over the 500$ mark. I'm not hung on .327 fed mag. Heck I may not ever shoot .32h&R mags in it. But I have some 250...

Just passed on a H&R 6.5" single six in .32 H&R mag at 250$ mostly because the seller would only take postal money order or bank certified check. Just more hassle than it is worth. Then I found a Ruger Bisley single six new in box with a buy it...

My understanding is the that the difference between SPM is SR primers is the hardness of the primers. The SR are harder to resist the higher pressures of riffles. While the SPM is softer for use in lower pressure rounds IE 38 spl.

I learned to make it last deployment to Japan. Making the rice correctly is the hardest part and most time consuming. Good thing is that you can make a few rolls and slice them up. Wrap them in suran wrap tightly and the last a couple days. Makes...

I recently tested my Hipoint C9 pistol with 8 rounds of 125 gr rnfp over 2.5 grains of Red Dot. You'd have to chrono them but that is half a grain below start. Pistol ran like a champ, accuracy was ok, mostly out of practice with it. I...

I don't see overpenitration as a problem. Inside the house its 12 ga all the time. Outside, well I really don't care a whole lot if that slug makes 2 holes vs one. All depends on the situation, what you consider acceptable and what is not. ...

I love my Grendel. Brass is cheap when you convert it from 7.62x39. Its a rare brass to find at the range, but when i do i scour for every little piece. My next AR will be chambered in the .277 wolverine.

Well a 140g 6.5mm pill is rated for Class 3 game and a 140g 30 cal pill is not. You would need 180g 30 cal pill for class 3 game. A light little 130g 6.5mm pill is perfect for Class 2 game.
