I believe the RCBS a roll crimp. I went on Lee’s website and they had a custom overrun 35 Whelen factory Crimp collet die they one left for $27 bucks. I grabbed it! I’m pretty much sold on these cramp days after I tried one on my Ruger 77/44. I...

I only know what works for my eyes, and color is the wrong way to go about the rear sight for me. I like flat black. No dots, no lines, no fiber optics. The front can be colorful. I've never tried aluminum, but I couldn't get a permanent solution on...

Yes, if you your seating die has a crimping feature, that will work. Else try a 9mm taper crimp die and see if that works.

So I was thinking my Lee factory crimp Collet die would work in my 35 Rem till I slid a Whelen round up in the die as saw the neck sticks way above the collet so that idea is out. So do I need to order the correct Lee taper die or use my factory...

What is the diameter of the 28 gauge ball? Also this is a longshot, but do you happen to have the swaging kit to go with any of the foster molds?

You can't use the 35 Remington collet crimp die on the 35 whelen. If you had someone make you just the right length spacer ring you could, but it's much easier to just get the right crimp die. I've never personally tried, but if you are looking for...

35 rem Collett die will not work. I stuck a load of 35 whelen case in it and the neck goes way above the collet.

I was going to ask if I have to crimp as well... I knew the answer since the case was being flared and it has to pushed back flush. I have a 35 Remington factory crimp Collett die. I’m guessing it will work for the Whelen as well?

CFE pistol is basically a modernized, well metering version of 800X. If Hodgdon had developed it for shotguns as well, it would be a much better powder.

I think that depends on the state you live in. If you buy in a local store, I would think most states would charge a sales tax. I don't pay one cent when I buy from Powder Valley. I just looked up my last order. $592.60 of powder and primers, $15.95...

the wads look awesome... i would give that drill bit a shot. you dont need it to be super tight fit, but it should be snug. the round ball is what makes your gas seal.

The Pedersoli 20 gauge would be the easy route. I would want to duck hunt with it, and 20 is pretty small. 16 is a big jump up, and I'm still undecided if the big 10 would be worth the extra width. I've seen a couple names thrown around who...
