Keep your eyes on the Swappin & Sellin subforum here. Those luber/sizers pop up pretty often there along with the dies for them. I got my Lyman 45 pretty cheap that way. This forum is pretty great. I've become a far better reloader and caster...

I have ordered several sets of grips from them over the years, and they have always sent me that email asking if I minded waiting a few weeks for my order. I just figured that's how they did things, which kind of makes me wonder why some of their...

I wouldn't worry too much about chasing velocity. Find something accurate and fun to shoot and stick with it. My 10mm is a 4.5" XDm. With a near max load of Blue Dot and that Lee 175gr TC, I'm getting 1185 FPS. It's not 1300 FPS, but it's still a...

I don't pan lube handgun bullets, but I have done rifle bullets the same way you are doing your bullets with pretty good success. I'm not sure why it's not working. For handguns, I either tumble lube with straight Lee Alox, or I powdercoat using...

I guess that's one of thing good things about owning weird guns in odd calibers. Outside of small niche groups like this one, they're hard to sell, hard to get ammo for, and very unlikely to get used in a crime.

I'd definitely like to keep it as simple as possible. Next time I shoot, I'll give some of your suggestions a try and see if I have better luck. Thanks again fellas. :)

Well fellas, I never did find a mold that gun would shoot. I'd really like to be able to shoot cast in it, especially with reloading components like bullets getting harder to find. I have a decent stock of them right now, but I'd be much happier...

AK, I have the LEE 155gr and I also have a 145gr "Elvis" mold from Arsenal. They will work for most of my .31s, but not the Arisaka, and I wouldn't mind a heavier bullet. I had originally gotten them for my 7.62x39 AR, but neither one would work. I...

I'm wanting to settle on a single mold that I can use in basically any .31 caliber rifle such as the Enfield, Mosin, or the Arisaka. My plan was to order one from Arsenal that has a large enough diameter to accommodate any over sized bore within...

Oh, I was going to ask. What is the easiest way to clean a rifle like this? I poured a pitcher of hot soapy water down the bore and then went at it with dry and lubed (CLP) patches. I probably went through 50 of them before I was satisfied. Surely...

I figured I'd post an update. I finally got my hands on the rifle last week and was able to shoot it some on Monday. I believe I am thoroughly hooked. There's just something about a black powder single shot rifle that seems right. :p I slugged...

I do not have experience with the Mini 30, but I have read that the magazines for those aren't the best. That may be an issue you want to look into before buying one. If you are dead set on 7.62x39, an AK or SKS would be good. You can also get an AR...

It'll be a week or so before I have the gun in hand, but I believe the Turked guns are pretty much guaranteed to have a .323" barrel, or thereabouts. It's good to hear that those Turked guns are stronger than a standard 1888/05. I'll just keep the...

I believe that I read somewhere that when killed, these hornets release a hormone that alerts other hornets of a threat and attracts them to the dead hornet's location. You might just want to leave them bee (you see what I did there? :P).

I have one of these neat old rifles on the way and I was wondering about reloading data for them. From what I understand, you want to keep the pressure below 40,000 PSI, and you want to avoid European made ammo as it's loaded hotter than American...

I would do one of three things. 1) Paper patch a 30/.303 cal bullet (I do not know what size your particular guns would need) 2) Size down an 8mm mold. 0.005 isn't that much 3) Buy a mold that will drop at the size you need. Arsenal and...

3-4 o'clock is where I carry. Appendix has always seemed like a bad idea, and I have never carried a gun small enough for it to be comfortable. Small of back (6 o'clock) is a bad idea to me too. I have heard quite a few stories of LEOs who either...

I think the issue with it is that it didn't quite deliver what it promised (the same with the 224 Valk), and it fills a niche that was already filled. 6.8 SPC and 6.5 Grendel both were similar enough and already popular enough to make the 25-45 kind...

That sounds like a lawsuit. PayPal almost always sides with the buyer, which is one of their biggest issues. They offer buyer protection, but no real seller protection.

Optics Planet lists PayPal as a payment option, and I have used it to buy AR parts there. I believe that their main issue is with the actual buying and selling of firearms. You can get the payment past them very easily, but should there be an issue...

Just because you don't like something, does not mean that it's obsolete. I do not care for 270 Win, but I'm not going to call it obsolete, because it's not. I'm using 30rd mags in my 7.62x39 AR, and am again, getting perfect reliability. Yes, they...

The case taper of the 6.5 Grendel doesn't mean much. I have a 7.62x39 AR, and it is 100% reliable. You just need the right mags for it. The 6.5 Grendel is far from obsolete, and is a great little round. If you want a long range AR, it will fill that...
