That’s what new my neighbor did after they bought the property next to me a few years back. They are about 15 yards off of it and have their tree stand sideways and stare down into my woods. I finally had enough of it and posted my land. My new...

I picked the gun up this morning. It’s pretty sharp. Of course I’m looking it over with a fine tooth comb and can see some of the wood grain not filled in by whoever finished the stock. The comb where your hand goes over it’s pretty rough like they...

You have fins around on the hollow point area just like I do when I cast with my Lyman devastator mold. I’m glad I’m not the only one that gets finning. It always gets squished down when I run it through my sizer anyways.

Nikons are awesome! I have several...probably close to a dozen! Let me know how you do a trigger job and post pictures of it when you’re done. My pull is actually pretty decent but I’ve never tried my pull scale on it. The only bad thing is is it...

I remember it was in my 77/44 now and not my bushmaster. I trim every case to the same length after every firing.

The boolits that I measured here were two years old as earlier stated in my post. I sized them with my lee .358 and the biggest one I measured was probably .360”. Some measured .359 and .3595. When I ran all of these through my lee Sizer die that...

You know I made another post recently about finding completely round lead PCd rings shaved off inside a few of my spent casings. Maybe this would explain why I would get a random ring in a case as some of my boolits grew larger than others and would...

You know you’re right they were in my fired cases and not my my action 99.9% of the time! I would find them in my zip lock bags I put the spent casings in and still stuck inside the spent casings. I was thinking that I shaved The base of the...

Id find just a couple, like two or three rings after about 60 firings. It wasn’t consistent. I wonder if I had some growth or bounce back on a few of my boolits causing this? The boolits I casted were a month or two old and around 16 BH.

I shot cast in my 450 bushmaster Ruger American two years ago and the gun is now gone. Its been replaced by Ruger to a scout model that is supposed to arrive today. What I remember is after so many firings I remember cleaning my gun there were a few...

When you had flyers I was wondering if you’re using gas checks. When I first started reloading with my 44 mag and 450BM I’d get random flyers and after looking at my pile of bullets I made I had some gas checks that went on crooked. This is a good...

Well this taught me to resize my old cast boolits I stocked up on 2 years ago right before I go to load them. I was having fun when I first got in the reloading and I casted up a couple hundred pounds plus GC, & PC them. Not that big of an issue...

I’m OK with cooked onions or onions that I pickled... But raw onions will give me a stomachache and go through me just like garlic.

I have. Not found that to be the case. Best accuracy with cast bullets in rifles has been with the drive band seated firmly into the lands..... just as in the OP's picture.

"I have the Lee 158 SWC GC mold that could be cast soft and drilled out for the hollow point." Silvercreek Farmer That bullet will do very nicely if cast of 30-1 or 40-1 alloy, lubed with a soft alox lube and GC'd of course. I'd use a 1/8"...
