Yep, mine is marked W for Winchester. I'm guessing we will have to measure the leaf/blade and go off the measurement? It would be better to replace the blade than aiming below the heart of a deer and blowing out the backbone at close range. Going to...

If I remember I think there might be a number on the inside base of my blade when I pushed it out. Probably telling me what height it’s is. I’ll wait till someone chimes in. I’m sure by changing the height of the front sight the ladder peep...

Wait for the 12" twist barrel. The 8" is made for long heavy sub-sonic bullets and for really long heavy VLD type bullets for long range shooting.....neither of those uses is on your radar. The 12" twist will be best, especially with cast bullets.

Have not tried the Pearson base....yet. However, it appears to be well made and solid when mounted correctly. If you get one i suggest being picky about the rings you get. The rings pictured on the web site are still too high. Weaver low tip...

I know this is an old post but hoping I will get some help with the correct size for my front sight replacement to get my POA lowered 8”. As outpost stated every .15” of adjustment raises or drops POA approx 3.9”. That means I need a front sight .3”...

Been using mine for traplines. I popped a rabbit with it the other day hiding in the brush at 10 yards right between the eyes. Those Winchester 333’s are destructive. It exited in the stomach and zipped a 3” hole in it with everything pouring out. I...

From what I’ve read and seen most can’t hit a building if locked in it with rimfire green Ammo. It’s not very accurate in just about all 22lr’s .

Tripplebeards replied to a thread Ruger Chambers in Rimfire Area
My American bolt action 22WMR will stick one in the chamber and not extract after 50 rounds or so because of the powder fouling build up. I have to clean it quite regularly to be 100% reliable. Its extremely accurate but has a tight chamber. I...

The only thing I don’t like with brass molds is I get tinning every time I use it. I have seasoned my mold by heating it in the oven a dozen times plus in a row by placing it in my oven and it doesn’t matter. I cast really hot so tinning will always...
