Naa got a reprieve. Never would’ve lasted 38 years have either one of us stayed mad for long. It sure was worth it though! Ha ha ha ha

When I trim brass, any that is .002 short goes in the batch and any shorter is culled. I size first or course. The last starline 44 mag I trimmed was a touch short or barely on.

I'm not super versed in shotgun tech but my modern 870 is rated for steel shot. Some of the chokes are steel rated and some not. I think all modern guns would be made to take the abuse of firing steel.

I've got an RCBS 505 that I sent back to RCBS for inspection and calibration. It returned with the same nicks it has but smoothed some. It works with no issues. I was kinda disappointed but I guess they know what they are doing.

I don't have any experience with such a large mould. But what I use is a carpenters pencil. Since you already have a buildup, you need to remove it. Heat the mould in the lead until it's so hot that the lead melts and then wipe it clean. I...

I don't consider it an addiction. A lifestyle, a passion, life's work, but not an addiction. The only difference between being into guns and technology is that guns no longer are a driving force in our economy, like they were for the 3 centuries...

Well I have acquired a copy of the RCBS 38-150-SWC, which correlates to the lee 358-140-swc in that the amount of bullet below the crimp groove is almost identicle. I've worked loads up (for the Lee 358-140-SWC) using the RCBS data going all...
