I REALLY believe in a cast iron pot. I've seen the results from stainless steel pot "failing" at the wrong time. My cast iron pot has a bail with a spout on one side and a lifting tab on the other. Holds about 60lbs plus. Use a turkey fryer I...

Titegroup will turn the hopper yellow overnight and deform it in another 2-3 days. I have never left powder in a powder measure unless I've just going in for a coffee refill or exfill.

I won't use them. I use a light Taper Crimp on .32ACP, 9MM, 40S&W and .45ACP. All other handgun get a roll crimp . All crimping is done is done separately from seating. I use a roll crimp on .38-40, .44-40 & .45Colt when using the old style...

My .17 HMR is the probably my most accurate rifle at the moment. Was reluctant to say this but when you can punch out paper the size of a quarter at 100 yards, it leaves little to be desired. I even surprised myself!

I grew up shooting Garand's, never used a small base die for anything but a REM 742, and a REM 700 with a Very tight chamber.. Got a Mini-14 in 1976 and a Colt AR a year later. Always use Standard Lyman or RCBS dies. Never had a chambering problem....

Insult me if you will. My experience of Lee dies will not change. Lee is a INEXPENSIVE way to start. I've even bought a Lee die set in the past. A set for .32S&W, they were a mix of .32ACP & .32S&W Long. They were too long to crimp a bullet into...

I have a Friend that bought a Uberti 1866 copy when they first came out in .45Colt, almost 30yrs ago. His standard Cowboy Shooting load is 8.0grs of Unique under a 230gr TC for Revolver and 255gr RF for Rifle. He probably averages 3,000 - 5,000...

In 60yrs I've found quality matters more in just about every type of Reloading Equipment. Lee is better then nothing, and if that's all you can afford. I'd buy a steel Redding set with a Profile Crimp die over Lee any day of the Week. ...

I found this tutorial not long after joining. Except for the scraping of the mocs on the carpet, I still do it this way. just a little less powder. And I dump HOT bullets into a bucket of water.

When I finally ran out of the old Lyman brass gas checks, I switched to the Hornady crimp-on type. Which are probably copper. The Saeco 180gr FN in .38cal shrunk it's groups from 3+" at 100yrds in My Marlin 1894CS to less then 2". The load was a...

Geez, and I thought was old. In the late 70's in CA, premium gas was almost $1 a gallon. $5 for my 69 BUG. I used to load 4.0grs of W231 under a 158gr RNFP or whatever bullet for My Kids Cowboy Guns back in 1998-2005. Until I ran out. Since I had...
