I grew up in LA in the 1950's & 1960's. Had 3 Brothers. My Dad boxed in his younger days, taught all his boys to box. Folks divorced in 1965, Dad married the woman who destroyed our family. Spent his tax money on her, so My Mother lost our Home...

Guess I'm luckier then most. My Winchester June 1944 came from the DCM in 1988. All my Clips came from DM 42 or SL 53 ammo in Bandoliers. Fired the '42 stuff in my M1917. Never had a problem of any kind. Had the Rifle stripped down completely...

This is the VERY BEST HOW-TO on Sourdough Starters that I have ever seen. Gonna try it. Haven't had REAL SOURDOUGH BREAD since Both Grandmothers passed in October 1979. Within the same week. Never had the chance to get my hands on either...

I used to keep log books on every gun and all ammo loaded for it. But when I got into Cowboy Shooting, I sold off a bunch of guns and stopped loading/shooting anything but Cowboy Ammo. Just never started up again after I left Cowboy Shooting.

I have a 1916 that's been turned into an Honest Scout Rifle. Trimmed to a 18"bbl, and a .285bore. Throats kinda short too. I've only use a Lyman #287405 now, sized .287 and cast of straight Linotype and gaschecked. Use 50/50 lube. It's a Loverin...

Hate canned biscuits, nasty after taste. The frozen ones aren't too bad. But they have to sit out overnight to rise. Takes some planning.
