"MT" is MagTech. According to the discalimer in email, I'm not supposed to share info in email, but... I'm sure the tech from MagTech wouldn't enjoy each and every one of us writing in on this! Anyway, at the end of the day, looks like the older...

The only time I remember checking 9mmX19 case length was for my Ruger NM Blackhawk Convertible. And since some one was nice enough to steal the 9mm cylinder off the shooting bench before I got to try it. I haven't felt the need to do it again.

I just gave up on W231, switched to Clays for .45Colt loads for Cowboy Shooting. Cleaner then 700x, so I started using for Trap/Skeet loads and Cowboy loads, one powder for both seemed a good compromise. Finished it up, by loading 3.2grs under a...

I've never heard of a Factory or a cartridge Handloaded with a J-FN going off in the mag tube. Not even Round Nose's. I've loaded 1,000's of FN & RN in .30-30, .35Rem and .45-70. Never gave it a thought. I think there is a very small area on...

Here is the SW deserts of USA we are used to the heat! 109F is nothing. DP's are still amazing low for this time of year. Not a drop of rain in site on the 10 day. Hope you eastern/southern folks can survive the summer! After 40+ years here,...

I've had one since they came out; .45Colt - 7" bbl. I don't think they are better or faster loading then a Colt SAA. The SAA is easier to maintain. And May GOD Help you if you ever dry fire it on an Empty Chamber. That Exceptionally Long Hammer...

I use 20 parts lead, 4 parts COWW. I throw in 1 or 2% tin for shine and flow. Ends up around 12 BHN after water quench. BUT over time they get harder. Like most will agree, fit is important. Bullets need to obturate!

Yes, That shallow rifling was about the 1917 models. My 625 - Model of 1989 has std rifling, just like my M27 & M25-5.

I cast RN, SWC, FP, WC and TC bullets for Revolvers in .32Cal up to .45Cal. For paper punching and general use it's hard to beat a SWC Keith Bullet. You can load it light for Paper & Heavy for Hunting. For over all use, if I had only one mold...

About Dieselhorses
I like to learn new things EVERYDAY. Just kind of a "hi-tech country boy" who wants to be remembered as someone who "lead" an interesting life. I want to be the inventor of the first "deer-shucker", remote controlled ammo and a twin that could pass as me and go to my job!
