Tossup between a trapdoor in 50-70 with full house loads shot prone or a Ruger #3 in 45-70 off the bench with full house loads. 470 N.E. offhand was a pussy cat in comparison.

A couple of years ago I was in Canada, saw a sign at a McDonald's advertising lobster rolls. I've done some silly things in my life. Just not that silly. Or brave.

Gotta add bone in ribeye steaks. From grade school past college we had feeder beef on the farm, 160-190 a year. Always "hard finished", ground corn and hay ration from 700 lbs. up to 1300-1350. White faced Herefords. We always kept 1 to 1 1/2 steers...

I found one of the old places near Philadelphia, theirs was great. If it is not done right they can be awful. Did you go to the original Rudy's northwest of town? The franchises just don't seem to get the smoking right.

I'm lucky my local scrap yard takes it, he looks more for the odd bullet that is pushing up the weight. As for depriming, then throwing it away, the primer is brass why would you help fill up a landfill with an easily recycled metal? All my spent...

I recycle the brass on the range at my gun club, I don't worry too much about the odd live primer in the scrap bucket I sell to the scrap man. My brass gets dumped in to a big gondola with a bunch of other brass which moves up the scrap food chain...

I suspect interest would be fairly low, it's for a buddy's 318 Westley Richards. It takes .330 bullets and he is looking for 240-250 grain bullet. I already have the lee for my 8x56R that works but he wants closer to the original weight bullet....

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place but you guys seem to do a lot of business with NOE. I sent an email early in the week asking about a listed 8mm mold on his site that is listed as out of stock, I wanted to know when or if it was going...

I've watched cost pretty close over the years, started with a Lee loader in 12 gauge, the card board box special. Moved to a Mec for speed. Started rifle with a Lee loader in .308. Started upgrading for almost 30 years now. I have been extremely...

If you don't find a load for the powder you have I put a vote for the 2400--I load 14 grains to good effect for paper punching or ringing dingers @ 100 yards with that bullet, although I gas check mine just because I had the gas checks given to me...

I have used a standard Lee expander die for cast bullets for 22 hornet. Didn't load a lot but it worked ok. I ordered the adapters from Noe to turn a lee expander die into basically a Lyman die. Tried them on 30-06 brass and was pleased. I have not...

I'm afraid gage blocks don't cold weld together. you can "wring" them together by sliding them together gage face to gage face with a VERY slight amount of oil on the faces. Time honored way was to wipe each gage block on the inside wrist of the...

I did it for a 8x56R, I don't have the right sizer die, it takes a .330 bullet, used a once fired case drilled out the primer hole with a drill large enough to take a 5/16 pin punch. Pan lubed the bullet, cut them out with the case and pushed them...
