Boy, I like cold, poisonous snakes don't do well in Michigan. There is a small rattler in Michigan that is extremely rare, I have never seen in my life.

This set had a "normal" size die with decap pin in it plus this expander/decap pin. Redundancy? Transition set of dies? If they are 20 years old I would expect a year of manufacture stamped on the top. Wish RCBS still did that instead of a...

Drilling the primer holes to ensure zero primer set back with the light loads, had a couple that locked the cylinder up in an earlier try. Maybe overkill, but this brass will never be loaded with anything but shot loads.

Did a small test with out drilled flash holes, primer was raised slightly. Next was 45/70 cases cut down on the rim and trimmed to equal a loaded cartridge, when I fire formed these I got lots of primer setback. Try 3 was with 480 case with...

Is it my geezer memory or is this an unusual expander plug for an RCBS 38/357 die set? Set dates from 82, I bought it with a bunch of other dead guy stuff. Picture did not come out clear enough, it appears to be able to have a decapping pin...

Started with the standard rcbs seater, upgraded to the Forester, it works very well. If I were to do it today, I'd go with the Redding, I have a couple of Redding competition seaters and I like them better. I can't quantify the difference, just like...

SE Michigan, birdshot has been about $40 a bag, a whole lot cheaper than what this guy is asking. And considerably easier to handle.

I've converted 7.62x54r to 8x50r and I too have found the primer pocket way to deep, being shot in a double rifle, will fire in the right barrel, occasionally in the left barrel. the primers are visibly much deeper than on anything else I load. I...

Vote 3, I have used several hand held primers, Lee (2) RCBS, I think two variations over the years, Lee ram prime, priming arm on Lyman and RCBS presses. I got a RCBS bench primer with a bunch of dead guy reloading stuff I bought ~ 10 years ago. I...
