Several years ago they imported a bunch of those little pistols into the U.S. There is a fair amount of loaded ammo and brass available. I bought one for I think $129 from the local Cabela's and they have had ammo ever since. Someone else at the...

Boy, I wish I still had a memory, Max and I talked about his rifle several years ago and I would have carved it in stone that it was a 30 Remington. They chambered easily, too easily. They slid right into that 32 Remington chamber with no...

Got the 30 Remington sizer today, working with new brass, started the brass with a leather face wood mallet. Finished the last 3/8" with the big vise, just seemed to work better than hammering the brass all the way in. Did three, loaded 20 grains...

Loaded 10 test loads for a buddy's 22-250, polished 41 300 H&H cases then annealed the necks, loaded 5, 30-06 tracer rounds, loaded 5, 30-06 incindiary loads. Made 150 empty 45 Colt cases. In the polisher as I type. Should be all spiffy in the...

With the steel plate do you have anything coming back at you? I have no problem banging away at steel with lead, steel on steel scares me. I've whacked a few anvils over the years and seen the rebound of a 3 lb. hammer. I suspect a 1" steel ball at...

Got to the oversupply of reloading stuff today, found what I hope is an acceptable PIF--although it may be a bit of a mystery what is in the box. After I got a count on the bullets(yes! Horror of Horrors! J-word stuff) and put them in the box...

For the guys looking for PB, if you have any trap/skeet/sporting clays clubs, I'd post a "wanted to buy" sign at them. That was a pretty popular shotgun powder in days gone by. It's kind of fallen out of favor for newer powders. I see it...

Not familiar with Lyman hand dies but if they work like Lee whack-a-mole I could use the 30 Remington. I've got 30 pieces of 30 Remington brass I'd like load for a buddy's father-in-law. He's got an old 30 Remington he hasn't shot in years.

I too had a SDB given to me about 15 years ago, still have it. It is a great press. Use it for 45 ACP, 38 Special and 45 Colt. Used to do 44 Mag also. I have a RL550b for 30-06 and 30 carbine. I'll continue to load the pistol stuff on the SDB. ...
