True except for the one feature the spurred the Creedmoor's development. That is the ability to use the very long VLD or hybrid type bullets favored for long range competition in a 308 length magazine.

I love Windows 10. I do have a very fast cable connection so updates are not an issue. It did take a little getting used too but it has been the most trouble free system I have used. I started with an Apple Macintosh in the 1987. I would have...

Dad's always shot better than Bings . I suspect it's been one of those things where the 120s were right at the ragged edge . Machine tolerance long on the rifling and long bullets and it goes out the back side of the curve . The cast bullet , at...

I don't Dad or Bingo would mind if I shot it a lot . Having moved from the west edge of the Great Basin to the Southern Ozark Green Hell I don't expect to have a lot call for Dad's 25 or the 264 WM beyond blowing the cob webs out so I have an excuse...

My casting sessions vary widely . It's pretty easy to get into a groove with 4,5,6 cavity moulds with 60-150 gr bullets and pour 30+lbs and end up with a lot of bullets . On the other side of the road when the 45s come out with 1,2,3&6 cavity moulds...

I don't have a 455 so I can not comment on them. I do have 452's and 453's. Between the two I prefer the 452. I don't care for the set trigger on the 453. The stock 452 trigger becomes a thing of beauty with the YoDave trigger kit...

Probably not a lot of help . The 230 is just too much of a good thing . The little 97 gr bullet is a fun little 22LR/mag replacement . The 165 gr Ranch Dog is a nice bullet and with IMR 4350 will reach jacketed full power load levels .
