Pull the bungs, cut the bottoms out of the barrels, weld a thick walled pipe to a disc blade, insert in the barrels and sink them in place. Then partially fill with rock till they feel solid, then drill and bolt on the dock subframe.

You have good eyes, as I missed seeing the little circle. I have 4 clips, two have the circle, two do not, but all appear to be identical otherwise. Now as I am looking at the two circle marks, one is smaller dia. than the other, so there must have...

NikA, my clips appear to be originals, and I will describe them as best as I can. The circular hole in the sides measure 1.255 in. dia., the length from the back to front 1.945 in., the height of the back spline is 1.900 and has raised "hump" .395...

Lil Gun powder at 15grs. in my Rossi carbine is crazy accurate at 100 yards with the 358156 HP bullet. After I shot that load I quit experimenting and just loaded it in all my brass.

We had a good store called Huron Surplus & Guns, they used to run two full page ads in the Shotgun News , a good friend of mine helped them to close it down. They called in some dealers to buy the guns and ammo and a few other things, then the rest...

I think that when a carton of .22's were $8 , interest was 18-20%, i was selling corn for about $1.20 a bushel, and paying hospital bills on the herd of kids I was raising , I guess $25 sounds kind of cheap to me now!

When you order your mould, don't forget to get a Lyman M-die or NOE neck expander plug for a Lee neck exp. die. They insure the bullet goes in straight without shaving lead or further reducing the bullet dia. because of a too tight neck. I've had...

If Graf's is made by Jamison, you might want to add to your stash. I talked to a bullet maker from the Black Hills a month ago, and he said the business was closed. The website is still up but every item says '' out of stock''. I was going to try...

Primers first, powder second, lead last. Lead can always be found, at a price, but when primers are gone, you just don't find them at the tire shop or junk yard. Also the post office won't ship you some primers like that 60 pounds of lead.

Weigh the pan and file off .2grns from the finger tab of the pan. I have used mine for over 30 years, but have never checked it against test weights. Maybe I'll weigh some assorted bullets on another scale and check mine, but then I won't know which...

Perhaps you could use an interrupted thread system, like the takedown system of a Win. mod 12 or 97.Then maybe a spring loaded plunger inlet into the forearm, that locks into a corresponding hole in the trigger guard. I wouldn't trust it to shoot...

The .600 hole spacing is what a Lyman 48 has, but they are straight apart, not off centered. One screw MIGHT hold the sight OK, if you can keep it tight.

I too would like to find some Berdan primers, and load some 7.5 Swiss and 8mm brass I have. I've converted some to boxer, but found it much easier to just buy PPU brass. I don't know if the importers can't get Berdan, or WON"T . The stuff should...

I recently bought a project rifle, a Remington 1903, that someone started to build into a sporter. It has a nice action, but a chromed barrel with a beautiful bore, and no sights. My plan is to build up a cast bullet rifle for one of my kids to use...
