Are they small pistol magnum primers ? Their website shows them, although I have never seen them for sale locally, only regular SP.

One farmer in my area used 48 row planters, 120 ft. wide, and he ran five of them ! This year I heard he traded them all in for little 90 ft. planters because they would fit between the mud holes ! When you turn too sharp with 120 feet, some of...

The wooden bulleted blanks were meant to be used with a blank firing device, that screwed onto the muzzle. It looks kind of like a round nosed muzzle brake, without a hole in the end. It would catch the bullet and shatter it, with the wood...

I've purchased a case of that bulleted blank ammo, and just could not throw away all that nice looking powder, so I did the same thing, worked up a load for cast in a 30-06. Some think that it is like dynamite and any charge will turn your rifle...

The instruction sheet that came with my tool says it is made in 89 !!! different calibers, and my guess is that some were never made, or made to order. The 4th edition of Handloader's Digest has a small write up of this tool, and it is dated...

I should have one, is the sight band off a 1903 with the dovetailbase, or the 03A3 with just a slotted band ? On the 1903 blade the pin hole is a bit closer to the bottom of the blade. Send me a PM, Jim

My beater 30-30 is a Marlin from the 1950's (?) that must have laid in a wet gun case and got some bad pitting, also has a broken and glued wrist covered in tape. Probably the ugliest gun I have. Shoots jackets well, but not good with the cast loads...

the rear band on my 1870 Springfield 50-70 measures around .885, but I believe it is a put together Bannerman made gun, so may have a band made from surplus civil war parts. I don't have a .58 springfield to measure, but I think it would be close...

Gewehr-Guy replied to a thread My local barbershop in Our Town
I been going to the same barbershop for 50+ years, but would change if yours was within 50 miles. One time went to the next small town as a kid and that was an old time barber shop right out of the 80's { 1880's } , old nickel plated and white...

Gewehr-Guy replied to a thread Target suggestions in Our Town
The paper from feed ans seed sacks make good target backers when shooting at longer range. My problem is keeping them dry and mouse free till I use them. I need to make a set of target stamps as described by country gent, they would work work well...

I also have a fascination with those little rifles, after I bought mine for $5!!! Bought it at a farm sale about 30 years ago, just a barrelled action, bent barrel and lever and very rusty, but not pitted. It did have the beautiful original...

That is for a Pacific PAKIT portable cartridge reloader. One end seats the primer and the other seats the bullet. I have one in .308 caliber, but have never used it yet. Sorry, I'm not bright enough to post pictures, maybe someday...............

I'll bet if you printed a few fliers with a picture of it and hung them on the bulletin boards of small stores, gun shops ect that you do business with, some would eventually show up. There has to be lots of the stuff still under peoples sinks and...

While rebarreling 1903a3 drill rifles I tried wood blocks in the barrel vice, then soft lead ingots , wheel weight ingots , then clamped between ingots of #2 alloy with rosin, and that held. I also had to use a hacksaw to make a relief cut on a...

Once you decide on your load your powder could be carried and dispensed with a brass powder flask. I have considered using one to throw small charges of smokeless powder for plinking loads in 30-30 and Krag rifles using thumb seated pistol bullets....
