    You shouldn't need to anneal the first go around with new brass ! When I did my 44-40 I fire formed the first cases to the chamber and then loaded the black... The cases are still working good after all these years!!! I keep the BP cases separate...

    90% of all my brass is the Winchester ! some of my loaded shells date back in the mid-late 1800s and this was the only instance I've came across! Not sure why ,but I sure like the Winchester stuff!!!! A bit spendy but you never lose ! Ol Deuce

    I just received an order for a barrel in 50-95 for a 76. I picked up an action a while back and made it into a 45-60 so I could use some 45-70 brass that had neck problems.

    I shoot the Uberti '76 in 45-60 !!!! The '76 handles well and a bit heavy ,but a great shooter!!! That was a once in a lifetime find!! to bad ya didn't jump!! !! Your grin would have been ear to ear!!!!! Ol Deuce

    The 2400 has been doing a really Great job ! I'm down to app. 3lbs and in the conserve mode with that powder!!! AA4100 might be something for me to look into as far as powder in the same burn rate!! the 2400 is cool stuff!!!! Ol Deuce

    I bought this from Brownells about 25 years ago, tack new handle then remove the jig and screw in the heat sink, weld it up. I used to use their heat control paste on the body too but ran out a dozen or so bolts ago, forget it.
