I have the specific cartridge pamphlets for .41 Rem. Mag and 375 Winchester both are equally split between cast and jacketed. No reason to ever discard old reloading manuals, still have the very first one I bought. Various component manufactures used...

220 grs. Would be where I would start in the ..308 and Trail Boss powder. The idea of a subsonic heavy .30 cal was played with by various special forces with unsatisfactory noise reduction. Remington did some special 700 308 1:7 R.O.T. -16.5”...

Very much agreed, Mr Wills. TBird You might like their copy of a peep sight it is shorter and price includes the base and two aperatures. You will need the base that fits the Win. 1885 and it makes no difference if a pistol grip or straight grip as...

Shot this target yesterday at 50 yds. I had changed rear sights from a MVA vernier #133 to #131 which is the least fancy of all of them with no windage adjustment. Also a new load with a new bullet, 35 grs. Swiss 1.5 Accurate 43-230E ,lube 50% SPG...

I spray the pan with olive oil spray, place bullets in the pan, pour heated lube to desired height. Soon as the the lube sets but still warm pop them in a freezer for a few minutes. Take out of the freezer turn the pan over upside down and and the...

It was the premier small bore cartridge of its time ,every kind of rifle was chambered for it , When Winchester developed the 30-30 WCF it was a no brainer to neck up the 30-30 and make a reamer to 32. Cal. and use their abundant 32-40 barrels and...

No flies on a Remington 700 ADL or BDL up to year 2000, some perceived and real trigger issues over the years but easily remedied with a myriad of after market parts. The Remington 700 is the pattern of choice in precision bolt action rifles that...

Neighbor just bought one in 280 Remington, probably the least number of chamberings in the Remington 722. It’s hard to find one that hasn’t been molested in some way.
