The T track is an awesome idea. However, I went easy for me and use the Inline Fabrication mid height mount and hang all of the presses not in use off of my cabinets. I use Inline's hangers too. My wife was surprised by how many "things" are hanging...

I've noticed my FA97 327 can flatten a primer like no other revolver I own, and that's more than a few. As I've just got this revolvers bugs worked out, I'm still working up loads and it likes H110 and the GC Sledgehammer. I was running a primer...

Right now my favorite is a MP Hammer GC mold with the large HP pin. The bullets have shot fantastic in the 4 357's they've been fired from (PC only). I also have an Accurate Molds 36-176D that shoots almost as good (PC for it too). 2 of the...

Garland rawhide mallet. I've used wooden mallets and delrin mallets for some time. The wooden mallets eventually send chunks all over the place and the delrin mallets don't, but the delrin tends to bounce. There was a thread recently on one...

I sure wouldn't get rid of mine. It has a feel in the hand that makes my 1911/2011's feel like a 1X3 (but I won't get rid of any of my 1911 styles either). I had Cylinder and Slide guts installed and the magazine disconnect removed. It is as...

Groo, I don't know how it'll shoot with factory ammo or jacket handloads. As I can't find any 115 Speer jacketed bullets, I'll have to stick with my cast (which is what I want to shoot anyway). After reading this thread it got me to thinking...

A timely thread. I broke my RCBS puller on Friday (got a little Cavemanish). I'll try the Lyman this time around. I've broken 2 in about 25 years so I'm not too concerned about this style of puller not lasting long. Who knows how many bullets I've...

A FA will teach you what a tight chamber and tight throats are. All is well with jacketed bullets, but branch out into cast bullets that are even slightly larger than the throats and your thumb will get sore. I've had good luck using my Hornady...

I shoot for 750°, use consistent alloys, pressure cast using an old RCBS ladle with the spout opened up, I cast fast and use a pot that'll hold approximately 50 pounds. I do this regardless if I'm casting 550 grain BPCR bullets or using a 4 gang MP...

Your OP got me to thinking. I have a new revolver in 327 Federal that my shooting partner calls a Las Vegas wh¤re (gorgeous, but no matter how much money you throw at it, it'll still break your heart). It should shoot like a rifle, and still does 3"...

I had a package delivered by DHL yesterday, a 452PB 4 cavity. I've been heat cycling it off and on today and will pour some lead in it tomorrow. Who knows, it might give a good haul tomorrow. My usual experience is that those beautiful brass molds...

I have a 4 molds that Tom @ Accurate made for me a few years back. I had them made so I could find that perfect style bullet without buying many molds in the process. I found there aren't any perfect style bullets and I bought too many molds anyway....

Best? Well MVA is known for their quality sights and optics. Shaver is also a well known supplier of BPCR stuff. I have and use MVA, Baldwin, and Heilman rears and can't tell a difference in quality between the MVA or the Baldwin. I haven't paid...

I suppose I'm one who likes his bullets not too hard. I usually use 2 parts WW and 1 part pure (or close as I can get to pure) and I'm not upset that PC curing may soften the bullets some. My revolvers like 12ish BHN, or at least the target says...

RCBS ladle and I can fill a 4 cavity MP 432GC mold with a big sprue on top. An Accurate Molds 4 cavity 45 300E is about all that particular ladle can do. I have a Rowell 1 pounder (dont remember the number) and it is just too heavy to use for any...

I figured you had played with the powder charge considering all of the other data you have supplied us, but asked because I didn't remember the whole thread. I'll have to get some Bluedot and AA9 to try. Due to the case size, it seems that...

A question on your primer test experiment. Will you fine tune the powder weight with the Federal 100's? I have almost no experience with Bluedot. Coming from a 600 yard Benchrest background, I would find a load that gave good numbers and...

I will do that to all of my molds. My flat surface may not be perfectly flat, but it's as close as I can come to it in my shop. I'll start with 800 and go to 1000 and finally 1500 oiled wet/dry paper. I've seen some polished areas on the sprue...

No. I have the same press, and while there is some deflection, the ram of the Lee die will push the bullet through the die straight as the die is. You may notice the ram I mentioned will burnish on one side or the other, but it will still size the...

I read a couple pages of this thread and I'm in the middle it seems. I box mine in the MTM clear green bullet boxes and figure I have about 48 of those boxes in the bullet cabinet. That is just handgun. My BPCR bullets are in MTM 44/45 caliber 100...
