    I try for 1.25" on the deepest section, and.650" on the shelf. I have some commercial lowers that are almost .010" deeper.

    I remember that ad campaign. At their advice not to use their bullets with the FCD I stopped using them for the most part. Started using more Hornady and Sierra bullets after that as it was a deceptive ad in my opinion.

    I made a new driveshaft out of 1/2" shaft that has a key on the top so it is now set up for the LNL drive hub. Made a collar with a set screw to go on the driveshaft so that a spring pushes the drive shaft and more importantly the index wheel up...

    Years ago I removed the clip guide on mine to mount a scope. To make it easier to put on/remove take a little off the bottom of the dovetail on the guide (not the receiver). Doesn't take much.
