Great lead from Bushwack. I still can't bring myself to melt down that cactus shaped piece yet. Sits in my reloading room.

Got my NOE sizer from Al yesterday. Sprayed a little one shot on the bullets and ran easy through his set up. Put back in RCBS lube sizer and lubing fine. I think the Lyman sizing die was having a hard time going from.462 to.459 Two steps but...

These have been sitting for around 2 weeks since I cast them. May be my issue. Got a NOE sizer so will order a new bottom sizer from Al today.

The mold is casting at around .462 and I am sizing at .459 I think I left the heater on for about 30 minutes until the base was warm to the touch. I haven't done any since late fall but noticed it last couple of weeks. Heat vent from the house is...

I bought this about 4 months ago. It done a great job with Carnuba Blue and sizing 45 colt bullets. I am noticing with Bac lube that I am really having to bear down on the handle and usually a full turn and 1/2 to get lube into the bullet cast...

I like both Unique and HS6 for the 45 but lean towards HS6. H110 at near max charges for the 44.

I went with the Franklin tumbler last year. Don't like cleaning primer pockets. Bought a gallon of wash and wax from Walmart. One cap full and a tad of Lemishine. Never any spots and brass is spotless. Like wheelgun convert stated make sure all...

If you are casting HP. You may have to color the pins with a lead pencil to coat the pins with a fine layer of graphite. This may help. Also I tell all new people on this sight that you may want to update your profile to include your location. Maybe...

That's good grouping. I don't want to run full bore although I can lube the bullets with a lube sizer and 45-45-10. I would like to use the sabots though. I can cast and size 44 or 45 caliber bullets and size as needed. I swab between every shot...

I'm assuming the 44 caliber bullets are for a 45 caliber muzzleloader or do I stand corrected. The .452 would be for my 50 caliber.

I had thought about the ball starter and since I have 2 was going to file one flat. I didn't think of cutting sabot down some. Dog gone 20 pack of hunting bullets is expensive. Can only zero and hunt with the rest. Sabots pretty inexpensive by...

I was measuring some Hornady 265 grain bullets that fit in Sabots for my 50 caliber in line Muzzleloader. I noticed they are .452 which is the same as I size for my colt from a Noe mold at 260 grains. My cast bullets are shorter than the SST...
