I will likely be heckled for my suggestion, but I am going to post it anyway because I might just try it myself sometime in the future since I like to test things like this on my own... Here goes... Maybe you could make up 10 rounds each ,...

You might try comparing the two using the tables in this calculator if you know the specifics it is asking for: http://www.handloads.com/calc/quick.asp I would be interested to know as well, but I do not have the data for the 9mm load you are...

The M91 Mauser is a definite no-go for this conversion. There is nothing to control the round when it pops out of the magazine and the chamber is about the last place it goes........

My M23B 25-20 was already D&T'd when I got it (it was well done) so I found some Weaver bases that allows a 2.5 Weaver scope in low Weaver rings to fit perfectly. I use 2 cast bullets in mine; the Lyman 257420 GC'd cast of COWWs +2% tin and WQ'd. I...

OP posted sufficient information in his 1st. post and stated what the test was for and what results he was looking for. Getting two different average velocities with two completely different bullets of the same weight over the same load is normal.

You are correct, the swirling motion/friction with the #5 (I've heard #2 but haven't tried that) creates a static charge. I have no idea why people are shaking the containers unless it is to get aggression out and ding up the boolits. Many of the...
