Ha! That's the guy who inspired me to do one too...I just sized mine up a wee bit so that hopefully I wouldn't/couldn't miss the thing. Then after getting a quote on the steel (sticker shock) the project sat on the back burner for several years. ...

they went forth for His name’s sake… 3 JOHN 7 Our Lord told us how our love for Him is to exhibit itself when He asked, “Do you love Me?” (John 21:17). And then He said, “Feed My sheep.” In effect, He said, “Identify yourself with My interests in...

If ya do not get someone to help ya with making them. I have likely got some of the 38-357(.135) and the 44-.44M(.135) extras. If not, I can likely get some from the local Ace Hardware store. I have gone in there in the past with a micrometer...

Had mine for a couple years & it works, "OK", I guess. I don't remember the exact cost, but I want to say it was around 4-45 frogskins then. Not too bad I reckon.

I am posting so that I subscribe & hopefully will use up some of the venison stuff(liver/heart) I have, in trying the recipe! I usually just cook & eat it as a stand alone meat. This looks like good stuff & I like Braunswieger a LOT. :) Thanks!...

My bad for the misunderstanding......As Outpost75 has developed an affinity for RL7 loads I preferred 44 magnum rifle loads using PB'd bullets using H4227. I simply haven't tried RL7 loads yet. Been some time since I loaded for a 44 Magnum rifle...

Let's nnot rule out the 4064 until you try it. It's going to be like a very, very slow lot of IMR4895 is all. Just because I never used it before doesn't mean it won't work just fine.

…I say to you, he who believes in Me,…greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. JOHN 14:12 Prayer does not equip us for greater works— prayer is the greater work. Yet we think of prayer as some commonsense exercise of our...

Idaho45guy, I got the idea that you did not understand what I was saying in my post earlier so I am going to try to clarify it. In my post #67 above, about the bear spray and the accompanying article included, I was trying to point out...

I've not really used a lot of 4064 for many years in my M1A/M14s and none with cast bullets. Even back then I preferred 4895 for use with match bullets and cast bullets. However, that's not to say 4064 won't work with your cast bullet in your M1A....

Ruger would replace the trigger parts with NM parts (transfer bar) and would repair the over rotation if that did not fix the problem.

I don't want to shoot any high velocity loads may not be compatible with shooting longer, heavier cast bullets in a 1:38 twist. To stabilize those bullets may have to be driven fast. A 240 - 250 gr SWC at 1050 - 1100 fps over 8 gr Unique will...

Concur. Titegroup is a fast burning, easily ignitable powder that does well with reduced loads. The "safety margin" involved is the danger of a bullet not exiting the barrel. Just make sure to use enough for all bullets to positively exit the...
