    Speer 250 RN J WORD was the bullet back in the day! I do also like many of the Hornady offerings. I have a NOE mold that drops a .360/280g bullet. Its a dandy too! I do have a small stash of those Speers but they are closely guarded sorry...

    Factory .30-30 jacketed round nose with exposed lead nose are .155" meplat diameter on those I have measured. If your loads are of similar shape I see no issues. Ed Harris design for .30-30 from Accurate I have used with full charge...

    Less tire psi, softer shocks and use 4 wheel drive.....and go slow... On my 4th jeep (05 Wrangler) with coil springs. Other 3 had leaf springs. Also driven many M151s gun jeeps with coil springs in Army scout sections. And...keep Preparation...
