LAH replied to a thread VS .38/.357 rnfp Cast in Swappin & Sellin
When I had the bullet business & was too busy casting to make ones for myself I shot many of this same bullet, 158 RNFP in my K-38 with 3.0 grains of Bullesye. It is a great plinker. Yes they were hard cast & used hard lube but they did fine.

Just a heads up ...Be careful... if you decide to add a hotplate to your casting setup. Because a 16 gauge extension cord is a bit light to run both (Lee pot and a 1000+ watt hot plate), actually a 14 gauge is probably a bit light as well. My hot...

Yes to the Craftsman... Last month, a neighbor moved out, he had a pile of 'free' stuff by the curb. One item was a old craftsman table saw...I must have looked at it for an hour, but choose not to take it (I have too much stuff as it is)...and...

what they aren't are puppy dogs. If you act like an idiot they can be dangerous. But that said it makes me chuckle when the walter middy type straps on a 475 Linebaugh and a 12 guage pump to walk behind the house when theres a chance there might be...

I don't recall exactly what OAL my Ruger 9e prefers when I use with the Lee 358-125-RF, but I do recall it wasn't at the crimp groove. Just assemble a some dummy rounds with various OAL and then do a plunk test with your gun, to find your OAL. ...

Actually, the primary non-stick ingredient of Pam is lecithin. Although lecithin is a fatty substance, it is not a conventional lubricant. In particular, it attracts water, and it dries out. When it dries it leaves behind a solid, which is why my...

Actually, they returned the original cylinder. Although I agree with you, I still can't find a crack. I strongly suspect magnafluxing would find a crack in the cylinder. The original owner said he was shooting the gun, and it was shooting...

ill put it this way. Ive seen my mother chasing a black bear off her back deck with a broom. I don't think shed be stupid enough to do that with a grizzly bear. I live where there are a lot of black bears. For the most part you don't even see them...

maybe if you weighted every charge but if you don't the ball powder is going to be much more consistant. Especially I a small case like the 223. If you want a change of pace give ramshot exterminator a crack. I found it shot better in the 223s and...
