Saturday, at the gunshow, i bought a shoe box full of primers, most were in original boxes. But there was a baggie with about 1000 GCs (22 cal copper) mixed with about 500 percussion caps...two different color/style percussion caps. I tried to...

I never slugged my SIL's Hungarian 9mm Mak. My 95gr Lee mold drops them at .366 or a bit more? it's been a while since I cast some. I Lube them with 45-45-10 twice, then load 'em without sizing using PowerPistol powder.

if it's a hot summer day, I dry them outside, in the sun. BUT, if it's wintertime in MN, I use the wood stove to dry them. Also, I decap all rifle brass before they get the citric acid bath, bottle neck cases dry better without a spent primer in...

I did a quick search and didn't see anything about a cross pin issue? Can you post some links and additional info? I've looked at the MVP in 308 but have never heard of this issue with their guns.

I had a 527 in 7.62x39 for a while....it was "ok" but the huge downside for me was the fact the 5 round single stack magazine was also the balance point of the gun. Made it awkward to carry at times, cracked the original stock within 100 rounds and...

I know that older military rifles that have lots of wear and tear (worn out throats) will require a larger nose. Lets say a new .308 likes a nose of .301" An old WWII '03 might need a nose of .304" A pound cast will tell you what your rifle...

OL Deuce it's not mine. Don Brown an old drag racer purchased it new. He died a year or so back. His family sold it a couple weeks back. Could have had it for 30 grand. I did feel good sitting in it though.

Maybe? The Hutchinson show in late Sept has been a staple for 36 years, known widely as a locally run 300 table show (by the Elk's club) with lots of private dealers, much like the Wells, MN show in March. There is usually a "crocodile productions...

shot the barrel loose? WOW ! Ruger couldn't fix it? WOW ! again. As DougGuy says, .431 seems like the size to use, if it'll fit. Hunting load, I'd use H110, work up a load for your gun, starting at Hodgdon's recomendation for a start load.

I agree. I pretty much baby my 29. 429421 with 8gr Unique The SRH gets the heavy stuff. The Smith is a much classier revolver. Better trigger, feel, and balance. The Rugers are just BUTT TOUGH!!

If the throats measure .431" I would size to .4305" Pure Lino is no good for a hunting boolit. Too brittle. Try air cooled WW alloy plus 2% sn or 50/50 coww/pure/1% sn water dropped.
