Hard News. My Condolences to his Family. I really enjoyed his posts, he had a GREAT DEAL OF INSIGHT into our pastime. May his Alloy always be pure and his pours drop clean. And may his groups always be small & round.

Shot thousands of rounds of 7TCU and 30 WCF through 10" barrels. The only thing I didn't like about the 10's was I couldn't shoot them "dead frog" like I could the 14'ers.

I use a lot of WC870 in anything .308 or larger and find it very accurate. Have read many times that magnum primers will help. Duplexing a couple of grains of fast flake powder down next to the primer will help cure unburned kernels if you want to...

Walks replied to a thread Taurus 63 in Rimfire Area
I got a Taurus model 94 in the early 90's. It was part of a trade. A 9shot version of a S&W 63. It had the roughest chambers of any gun I've owned or even fired. I did everything I could to clean & polish the chambers. To no avail, turned it over to...

I live in southern L. A. County. At the start of the King Riots in '94. As the Newscasts showed the rioters moving steadily south, my Neighbor on the West side knocked on my door asking to borrow a gun. As we were in the garage picking out one from...

Technology is not our friend. It makes everything more expensive to buy and much more expensive to fix. And half the stuff you can't fix yourself, because you don't have $500,000 in Diagnostic equipment. At $35,000 as the average price for a...

There are two hard and fast rules in this house concerning AR's. One, the uppers get marked in white paint pen with the chambering, on both sides. Two, magazine segregation. .223/5.56 is put in USGI metal mags only. 300 BLK goes in P-mags. .224...

I never ask what Jesus would do. I'm Jewish, so I ask what would my old Rabbi say ? He'd ask how will you balance the scale? I went to the local Salvation Army and spent $50 bucks for Women's & little kids clothes, then stopped at the Walgreens for...
